Aʙᴏᴜᴛ ▼"Modern-day robin hoods" is labelled by those captivated by them, and "modern-day thugs" by others victimized by them. Dallas, an exiled mobster handed a second chance, now leads a small, albeit organized 4-man crew called the "PAYDAY" gang in a campaign against the government and other criminals alike enriching themselves at the public's expense. However, the man's motives are contradictory.
Like with Hoxton, Wolf and Chains; his three cohorts in crime, Dallas' claims of "philanthropy" for the public's welfare is a ruse. In actuality, the orchestration of heists across various locations and institutions is performed for the selfish indulgence of the crew's wealth itself. The PAYDAY gang also performs contracts for clients who'll pay them handsomely for their services, via an underground network called "Crime.Net". Yet, their greatest option is self-employment; making work for themselves as opposed to finding it.
Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ ▼The dangers of his profession force Dallas to be all the more careful who to affiliate with, giving the impression of unsociability; a stoic man hesitant to make emotional attachments because of liabilities he believes may be used against him. Opportunistic if chances present themselves, Dallas may cross moral boundaries for contracts he accepts to undertake, flicking his conscience on / off like a light switch to handle them.
More positively, Dallas is reliable to those he's grown to trust within his tight circle of friends, with traits of loyalty, empathy and helpfulness normally seen by teammates, and less by strangers. Mindful to never speak about his involvement in Crime.net openly, Dallas leads a double life alongside his criminal career, doing his best to keep his illegal activities from spoiling the opinions friendlier people may have of him.
Sᴋɪʟʟs ▼Dallas has skill points invested in the Mastermind, Technician and Ghost classes, but is primarily Enforcer. He has put points into the other classes for the damage, speed and defensive bonuses to augment his enforcer skills, and mitigate weaknesses, besides focusing on enhancing his ammo efficiency and body armor to endure assaults. Dallas excels when missions go loud, delaying and outfighting foes to help teammates. However, poor stealth as an enforcer means he's detected faster in quieter missions of subtlety; fighting through the rest of a mission once discovered.

Hᴇɪsᴛs ▼Cancer Cure - Days: 3 - Stealth / Loud
A drug serum undergoing tests at a private medical clinic, sponsored by the Wellworth Health institute, yields a cure and vaccination for cancer. The Drug Safety Administration (DSA) awaits test results returning from the clinical trials prior to evaluating the cure. While a humanitarian feat, the cure threatens shareholders heavy investments made in competing medical institutions researching the same drug. Klamerland Kare, a rival corporation, resorts to an underhanded request; intervention to destroy or steal the serum to plagiarize as its own project. The DSA, Wellworth and clinic facilities are to be raided.
ICTV Heist - Days: 2 - Stealth / Loud
Gensec Industries, a security company, designs a prototype to advance ballistic protection of bulletproof vests to a new level; the Improved Combined Tactical Vest. News of the project leaks out, which intrigues Bain, who eventually pinpoints the whereabouts of the Gensec lab the ICTV is being held and heavily guarded with multiple security measures. To improve the chances of stealing the ICTV undetected, Bain devises first to disable a power station grid nearby to activate the onsite emergency generators at the Gensec lab, and disable the generators as well, once there.
Superyacht - Days: 2 - Stealth & Loud
Mikael Polas, ex-kingpin of the Jacolopes drug cartel, desires revenge on cohorts who usurped his leadership years ago. Hired gunmen are to masquerade as buyers to crash a private party and transaction the Jacolopes plan between delegates of other gangs and groups invited to a superyacht docked at a harbor. Refusing to risk his own cash reserves, counterfeit cash is to be manufactured beforehand within an abandoned printing facility to scam the Jacolopes out of $500,000's worth of narcotics, which is to be delivered back to Mikael. Additional loot aboard the yacht is a bonus incentive.
Jailbreak - Days: 2 - Stealth & Loud
Eric Giacomo, underboss and son of mob boss Phillipe Giacomo, is arrested amid sting Operation Joust orchestrated by the FBI to penetrate and destroy the hierarchy of the Giacomo Crime Family. From a corrupt detective, Philipe learns of Eric's ultimatum in custody; arraignment and transfer to a federal penitentiary should Eric refuse to cooperate spying on his own family. Unwilling to forsake his own son, yet pressured to preserve his empire, Phillipe appeals to Crime.net to free Eric from the police station and escort him to an airport to hijack a private plane and evacuate the country to safety.
Extremists - Days: 2 - Stealth
CEO Quincy Kern struggles to stop political fallout and economic damages H&H Timbers suffers amid fierce, albeit peaceful protests Nurture Nature environmentalists conduct, perceiving the cutting of redwood trees as displacing wildlife from H&H's logging operations. As H&H market shares keep dropping, Quincy aims not to bear the disgrace of allowing the 80-year-old company to go bankrupt under his tenure, putting out a job on Crime.net to raid the home of the N.N. leader, find their office and plant drugs and weapons on them to paint them as extremists to discredit their cause to the public.
Fairgrounds - Days: 2 - Loud
In a special election after the state governor's impeachment, Dana Mendell emerges victorious, yet with votes rigged by the Weltz Syndicate in exchange for Dana to overlook their criminal rackets. A year in office, Dana has a change of heart, as she feels the praise by the public for her integrity is undeserved. Dana reneges her promise to the Weltz, trying to blackmail them out of the deal with her administrative powers to launch investigations into their illicit enterprises. Enraged, the Weltz hire from Crime.net to rob the state fair; an annual event that nets the state millions of revenue, to lure Dana out to address public and news media outcry and assassinate her.
Grand Opening - Days: 1 - Stealth / Loud
Through a Crime.net contact, Bain catches wind of Overstuffed Storage, a public storage service, celebrating a grand opening for its newest location within the downtown business district. The first 40 customers to Overstuffed are rewarded a free full month's time of storage in a marketing promotion, with some other local businesses taking advantage to store their extra merchandise. Exploiting the promotion, Bain believes Overstuff's capacity load is high and senses an opportunity to burgle a large cache of assorted valuables from the storage rooms, making preparations for a hit.
Library Heist - Days: 1 - Stealth / Loud
The campus library at the prestigious Pullerton University earns special privileges to exhibit historical books and documents loaned from the Library of Congress. The announcement comes as Dr. Leon Carlyle, a bibliophile and disgruntled professor faces the board council receiving anonymous complaints from staff and students; complaints he believes prefabricated in a ploy to fire him and withhold retirement benefits. Before leaving, Leon places a job on Crime.net to kill two birds with one stone: Steal the books and documents to tarnish the college's credibility, and which to add to his private collection.

Army Base - Days: 1 - Stealth
Gage, a black market arms dealer affiliated with Crime.net, requests Bain to investigate and steal a new firearm approved for military service; the SAP-13 carbine rifle. A select number of military garrisons will receive a truckload of the newest carbine, and Gage believes one of them ranks lower in security than most; an oversight on the military's command behalf. The timing coincides with Bain looking to replenish low stock reserves of thermite, who accepts the job. However, aware of the superior firepower at the garrison's disposal, Bain is wary of risking full force, ergo making stealth absolutely paramount.
Feint Fight - Days: 1 - Loud
Sweedwood's police department prides itself on a steadfast commitment to safeguard the populace from criminal endeavors, earning one of the lowest crime rates per capita worldwide; an honor the police intend to preserve. However, Bain devises a one-two punch strategy to counter police omnipresence and exploit their vigilance. One team shall preoccupy the bulk of the police force with brazen violence and mayhem in broad daylight at an apartment complex somewhere, as the second team relieves the local Boyce Bros. bank of its finances, elsewhere.
Vandals - Days: 1 - Loud
Strangely, the Mega-Sav-Mart's property insurance is evaluated 75% higher than it should be, a discrepancy store owner Julius Orand abuses to recoup sale losses during an economic recession bankrupting several local business in the area, adversely affecting Mega-Sav-Mart. Planning to relocate elsewhere more profitable, Julius first intends to collect on his own insurance policy, filing a claim of vandalism that details collateral damages which result from a staged robbery at Mega-Sav-Mart. To make the claim plausible, Julius hires perpetrators from Crime.net.[/color]Oᴛнᴇʀ ▼The Long Hit
The years have changed nothing. The hit on Dallas, for his involvement in conspiring to play rival mob families against one another while part of the Chicago Syndicate, is still outstanding. The bounty for his life remains active and reward lucrative. While safeguarded under Bain's protection in Crime.net, not even Bain can monitor every awaking moment that Dallas balances his civilian activities with Crime.net.
The Decision
Dallas meets a new acquaintance desperate to survive homelessness. Dallas provides them with some financial assistance, plus a trip to Bodhi's Dry Cleaning to clean their dirty suit for an job interview. A friendship blossoms, but while grateful for his support, they recognize Dallas' voice amid a robbery attempt. Unsure if they should report the very man who helped them at their greatest hour of need, an internal debate ensues between the limits of gratitude, the stigma of betrayal and the persistence of one's conscience.
The Visitor
Dallas meets someone from another realm, who is unversed with Earth's history, culture and regulations. They look to Dallas for guidance and other commodities exclusive to Earth, found nowhere else. Dallas gives erroneous information to mislead their perception of normalcy about Earth, and therefore manipulates them. Catching onto the charade, their realization may nonetheless come too late, already in trouble with the authorities, as ignorance of the law is no excuse to break it.

A New Crew
Nothing lasts forever, not even the PAYDAY gang. The final chapter of the crew's escapades has closed, and the crew disbands as Hoxton, Wolf and Chains move on to other prospects, overtime. While accustomed to his teammate's familiar faces, Dallas knows it is fruitless to try to rebuild the past. Staying behind, Dallas requests Bain to assemble another team to continue his criminal career, facing an otherwise uncertain future. New members are recruited, and the dynamics and teamwork between Dallas and his new crew are to be explored.
