  Personality
  Heimon is a man of few words. He tries not to think outside of surviving and the ultimate victory. Heimon rarely curses, usually remaining courteous and distant. In combat, he quick and light on his feet, making him great at stealth operations. Lacking in camaraderie, he is quick to abandon a battle he deems lost. Heimon seems careful, not because he values his life, but because he is scared to die. The thought of meeting his family in the afterlife terrifies him. Heimon dislikes nighttime due to unpleasant dreams and a dark idle mind. He is not a optimistic thinker, and when left alone, often terrorizes himself into anxiety.
  
  Background
  Heimon was born into a wealthy family in Alera, his father was a rich gem merchant who often invested in the mining business. Heimon grew with the abundance of love from his parents and sisters. From young childhood, he had many friends with whom he shared the interest of horse riding and sword practice. Heimon never once thought he would need those skills, he endorsed them purely out of enjoyment. He’s entered a few sword fight tournaments, and left them with a few bronze and silver medals. Heimon spent most of his time on academics, he had an avid interest in alchemy. The family had high expectations, with him being the only son, and both his sisters were of weak health.
  
  On the day the demons broke Alera, the city was tense, but they hoped the druids would prevail. Heimon fought to defend Alera as well, despite the protests of his family. But what happened on that battle was nothing but a massacre, and soon they were retreating. The demons broke through and made their way into the streets. Heimon tried to find his way back home instead to the barracks, but there were enemies every corner, and he was too late. His home turned into a mortuary that night, littered with the bodies of his servants and family, except that of his father’s. He was probably out there then, roaming around as a mindless mutant. Heimon can’t remember how many hours he spent with silent tears before he was enslaved by their invaders. Since then, he thought of nothing but revenge and freedom.
  
  Notes
  - He had a fiancée he never managed to find after Alera was seized.
  - After enslaved he had several incidents which destroyed his trust in his fellow men. This made him extremely suspicious and damaged his sense of comradeship.
  - Many scars from beatings during enslavement. He avoids taking off armor and always wears long sleeved garments.
