• Description

  Ms Woods was originally raised as the daughter of a wealthy wine merchant who had a knack for 'accidentally' acquiring other ship's cargo when trips didn't go so well. Along with a shipment of 'accidentally' acquired Morrigan's mother along with a shipment of slaves bound for a wealthy plantation owner's cotton fields. Morrigan's mother was pregnant with her already, and Morrigan never learned who her father was, although her mother swears he was a fox-spirit, who had felt he owed her. Morrigan never knew what the debt he was repaying was, and never believed the stories, passing them off as an excuse for why her hair grew out in red and brown streaks that faded to white at the ends. No matter how much she cut it, the ends would always seem to bleach back to the same white again.
  
  She had her adoptive father's knack for ... crude business dealings and at 16 was operating a small cafe, which later turned into a rooming house, with money that her adoptive father lent her. All she had asked for was 'something to occupy my time'. He still supports her, and is one of the exclusive suppliers of her now ample supply of liquor.
  
  She runs the Fox-Wolf like a machine, overseeing every new hire, every shipment, every guest that takes a room. She's often seen down in the tavern, conversing and passing the time. She picked up her father's business sense, her mother's interest in gossip and people, and the sailor's rough mannerisms, frank speech, and bawdy topics.
