    Caleb Tuckard always hated Bule-Icks, up until he was turned into one and had the memory of the whole incident wiped from his mind. After trying to convince his friends and family of who he really is, he is beaten half to death, leaving him without any help. Except for Hope.
    Hope. The girl who has always been too shy to talk to Caleb, but now has no restrictions to helping Kaylub in whatever ways she can.
    After getting involved with a Bule-Ick gang leader's brother, Kaylub gets caught in the middle of something that could mean the extinction of both the Bule-Icks and the Humans...

  • Bule-Icks

    Put in simple terms, Bule-Icks are what the Native Americans evolved into when they separated from the Humans of Europe, Asia, and Africa. There Latin name is Homo eversor, which translates to man destroyer, and boy do they live up to it. Ever since 1776 when the North American continent was first colonized, more than half of the Humans who came from the East have been killed by Bule-Icks. As scary as those statistics are, Humans have killed just as much (if not more) of the Bule-Ick species in retaliation.
    Bule-Icks themselves are similar to Humans except for spikes protruding from their knees, elbows, wrists, vertebrae and fingers, a whip-like tail, pointed ears, and cat-like eyes with three more color cones than Humans. But their most defining factor is also their most dangerous: their ability to control temperatures to the extent of completely covering their bodies in either fire or ice. The icing on the cake of these creatures is their intelligence. And they have just as much of it as Humans do.
    Strength. Intelligence. Numbers. These are what led Humans to rule the Eastern Hemisphere, and what led the Bule-Icks to rule the Western Hemisphere. These factors don't fair well for either species...
