• Backstory

  Ryker was born to Jennibelle and Vladamir Dragos in Kerry, Ireland. He was born as an identical twin to his brother waif, Sufoca, and they spent their childhood together with a half-sister named Ingelore. Ryker at the age of 7 had developed a distinct set of talents that allowed him to manipulate the baser elements; however he had little training and was unable to fully control them at his discretion. A few years close to his adolescence, he was contacted by an uncle and greater daemon, Iapetus who had made an offer to tutor him and his brother. Ryker refused at first, but was eventually swayed by his brother Sufoca, who had an intrinsic skill with necromancy.
  Once they hit 13, both brothers immediately left the care of their parents to be taught under their uncle in the Undercity, which he ruled. Ryker trained with Iapetus for five years, spending his adolescence under strict rule and routine. Ryker was a rebellious youth throughout the years; eventually, he was separated from Sufoca and sent away by Iapetus to seek out a warmonger and retired general named Lucifer.
  Ryker sought out Lucifer on his own, being offered little help by Iapetus. In this time Ryker developed the skills he needed to track, and enjoyed the new found freedom that came with independency. He performed a few menial tasks for some underworld types, and found he had a niche in mercenary work; however, he also found he lacked the combat skills to follow through on more dangerous jobs. Determined to continue training, Ryker pursued Lucifer once more in the hopes he would teach him what he knew. Ryker tracked Lucifer down to a cabin out in the highlands of Scotland. Lucifer originally denied the teenagers inquiries for training, believing him too feeble for the task; however, Ryker persisted and eventually Lucifer agreed to handle him.
  Now under Lucifer, Ryker had access to combat training was taught basic military tactics. Though Lucifer was less strict as his brother, he was far more brutal, and Ryker often had little room to be rebellious. Despite their turbulent teacher-student relationship, he formed a bond with Lucifer outside of their training session, and eventually came to discover he was Iapetus brother. Ryker continued to train with his uncle until he reached 21, and despite protests from his uncle, he left to pursue a more adventurous lifestyle.
  Ryker was immediately taken back into his mercenary work, and joined a low-profile group, eager to establish a reputation for himself. He traveled with this group for two years before defecting due to some ethical disagreements; however his notoriety amongst the underworld types had become distinct, and his fame continued to grow. Ryker, now independent once more, continued contracting himself, taking any roles from bodyguard, to treasure seeker, to chaperone-- going so far as to 'escort' to sate his need for variety. After a year of this, Sufoca eventually sought him out, and they were quickly reunited with each other and live together wherever Ryker happens to travel.

• Ongoing Story

  Ryker, now in his late-20's, continues to travel; though, he spends most of his time with his girlfriend, Viktoria. Having spent the last few years working both as a mercenary and avid adventurer, he has built up a small store of wealth as he plans for the future. Though Sufoca does not often spend time with his brother, he watches him constantly from the netherworld--- showing on occasion to lend his more aloof sibling much needed advice. As Ryker grows older and more experienced, he finds himself living day by day as a series of events--- happy to finally be at a place in life that truly feels like home.
  
  After five years of hidden infatuation with his best friend Viktoria Dietrich, Ryker eventually mustered the courage to admit his feelings to her-- and much to his surprise, they were mutual.
  As his first real relationship, he often worries about making mistakes--- however, nothing has ever made him feel quite so complete. Despite what he fantasizes of their future together, he knows it better to be patient.
  
  Ryker currently works as a bouncer (and occasional dancer) at the same exotic dance club as his girlfriend. Though not near as exciting (or dangerous) as his mercenary work, knowing he'll be able to keep his eyes on Viktoria seemed more than a fair trade off.
