Hello...
My name is Wings Reileigh Chamfron. If you ever meet me, that's probably the way I will introduce myself. It didn't used to be that way; I used to only say Wings Chamfron, but I'm not called Wings at home anymore. My mom died just before spring in 09 and now I live with my dad, who I only met a handful of times before then. My mom named me, since they weren't together when I was born. I get almost all of my traits from my mom: her genes dominate my appearance, and since I lived with her most of my life, our personalities were alike. My dad called her naive, and because we were so similar, that's what I am too, whatever that is. Oh, the reason I use my middle name? My dad doesn't think Wings is a name('hippy' is what he calls it), so he'll only call me by my middle name.
No one thinks I'm anything like my dad... I'm not even certain we're the same species, in fact, I think he's a robot. He watches the news, drinks coffee, and reads the paper. He works 9 to 5 and drives a BMW. That doesn't bother me, but the fact that he wants me to behave like a little robot spawn does. I'm only allowed to watch educational tv, I'm not allowed to drink soda, and I have a reading list a mile long. I'm in school 8 to 3 and I ride a bus.
But back to the subject of me: I'm a tomboy, though unlike most, I consider pink to be an attractive color. I'm not an athletic girl, however, I really wish I were. Don't let my small, fragile looking stature fool you, I'm rough and tumble. I just turned 11 years old. I have straight, brown hair that I wish would curl and hazel green eyes that I wish were blue. I'm an extreme extrovert -- ask my old babysitter: I answer payphones. I hate conflict and try to remove myself from any arguments. I won't lie, I actually run from them, coward as I am. There's something different about me, but I'm not sure what. My mom never brought it up because she didn't find it was a big deal, and neither does my dad, but I assume that's because he doesn't care. It's something about why I'm so picky... OCD? Close to that, at least.
Work in progress. The writing is sloppy, but I'll refine it when I'm feeling more disciplined.
