• Description

  Sariel comes from the Feywild forest where her family is highly respected and responsible for maintaining the the Eladrin city. Even with Eladrins natural love for exploring and intellect, Sariel's curiosity and ambition from a young age was considered unusually high. Being born into a high class family Sariel's role in the Feywild city would never involve exploring the dangers outside of Feywild so her concerned parents often restricted her freedom. Firey and ambitious Sariel sought no interest in the Eladrin's love for dancing and art. She occupied what free time she had learning the art of sword crafting and fighting until her parents forbade her from continuing. Her siblings scoffed at her desires and she often was treated like something damaged by her family. At the age of 32 (an Eladrin lifespan is 300 years) her Uncle Olaxis came to help raise her, the moment he saw Sariel he knew she was a special child. A master in magic, Olaxis secretly began teaching Sariel the ways of magic. He became her only friend and guide. She grew to cherish the power of knowledge and nature and learned to put some of her ambition into magic. Olaxis would often leave on important business, leaving Sariel to practice magic on her own but he'd always return with a great story and more knowledge and magic. At first, Sariel's parents were happy to see Sariel's firey temper flicker down and her constant attempts to escape disappear. They welcomed Olaxis until they started to take notice of Sariel's magic abilities. She was far more advanced than other Eladrins her age and unlike most Eladrins only focused on books and magic. Wild tales about dragons, demons, wall shadows, and perilous creatures suddenly became Sariel's constant subject of conversation. And with this her parents banned Sariel from any more visits with dear uncle Olaxis. After not hearing from her Uncle for 2 years Sariel decided to finally leave the Feywild city and all her disapproving delicate family members behind. She took her prized books and trinkets given to her by her uncle, a few items of clothing, her finest sword, and her staff given to her on her 59th birthday by Olaxis. Which leads to present day Sariel who still thirsts for knowledge and magic but has been on many quests and still has yet to find her dear uncle Olaxis.
