    • Mannerisms: Though Viru is not a particularly social person, she is good at getting people to like her and fits comfortably into a leader-type position. She presents herself in a calm and authoritative way. To find her without her manners is rare.

  • Description

    Having been working with magic since she was very young, Miss Viru Almandine Garn thinks of very little else than expanding her own knowledge and skill of the arcane. In spite of her photosensitivity, due to her albinism, Viru has a powerful affinity towards fire magic. She has a great knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, and is fascinated in studying the effects of arcane arts on the living body. Those who know of her may also whisper some rumors that she has an interest in necromancy, too. But that's preposterous. And quite illegal where she's from.

    Her obsession with her work has had it's ill effect on her health, however. She constantly wears conservative clothes to cover magical burns that snake around her body. They seem to have come about from an accident, but the nature of said accident remains unclear. The burns never seem to heal, only being temporary relieved by medical attention or divine healing. On occasion, they flare up. It's very painful.

    Viru is a well respected authority on arcane research and has had several of her essays published, including her 'Soul Theory', and her documentation on Ether Poisoning and Ether Addiction. It may very well be that she suffers from the conditions she documents.

    Her only known permanent companion is a male cockatiel that she looks after.
