• Physical Description

  Thin and ungainly, Shadowstep's naturally lanky form and clumsy nature makes him appear as if a stumbling infant. Slender and sharp features make the unpleasant feline appear even more so devilish, like a passive mockery of his naturally unsteady gait. The toms predominantly black fur is often stained or muddied, thick clots of dirt matting the fur around his paws and legs.
  Aside from this Shadowstep is healthy, possibly not so much in mind as he is in body. There is a flare of resilience in his bold yellow eyes, like a candle-flame that refuses to dwindle and die.

• Personality

  Shadowstep has become mistrustful and aloof due to his past hardships. Interacting with others only when required or else expected to. His lack of social interaction with others shows clearly in his dark, ill-mannered jokes and overall nature, he has little knowledge of what others deem appropriate.
  
  The same hardships however have hardened the feline, having matured and gained some self-respect he has gained a great determination, an almost vengeful drive that seems to dictate his obsessive nature. Imbued with an almost self-destructive need to be the best, Shadowstep finds the need to constantly prove himself, even to the peers he avoids so much.

• History

  Shadowstep was the result of a one-off affair between a male loner and his warrior mother and has always held some contempt toward his mother and her actions, even more so for his unknown father.
  
  Shadowsteps early kit years were like any others, full of hopes and dreams and all those pretty little things. Due to his rather disproportionate appearance and overall clumsy nature however he soon became the main target of his teasing peers.
  This continued further into his life, it was not uncommon for the young apprentice Shadowpaw to be the butt of sometimes overtly unkind jokes. Distractions and self-esteem issues hindered him throughout the many moons of training. The unfortunate feline continued to soldier on however, finally becoming a warrior. Albeit some moons after his peers had done the same.
