• Description

  Lydia Duchan has never been what most people would call normal. Ever since she could remember, she has always been just a little bit too tall, a little bit too pale- too skinny or too withdrawn. Unlike most Maned wolves and the others in her family, she was born with black and white hair that comes down in alternating strips around her face. The tip of her nose fades down into a dark tinge, as do the tips of her ears. This color pattern seems to follow suite on her hands feet and even the tip of her tail. The rest of her is exceedingly pale, not so much ashen white but damned near close to it. There are dark circles around her eyes from lack of a regular sleeping schedule. Having been considered to be some what of a freak for the majority of her life, the young woman does not enjoy having attention put on her for more then a few moments. When it is given, she tends to tense up and hive soft muttering - as she does not do well with actual conversation.
  
  Being the third child in a family of five, she always seemed to be the odd duck out some how. Her older two siblings were always prize winners- both going on to be prestigous doctors in their feilds of medicine. Her younger two just seem to get into trouble and astound their parents with either a large venacular of words or setting new standards in the family feild of excellence. Being that Lydia was never able to get this in her own life, she has been happy to scoot through the background of her home, sticking to the shadows and doing everything that really needed to be done around the home. When she finally had saved up enough money, she put herself through medical school and became a pathologist ..Sadly no one of her family was there when she graduated as the top of her class - one of the few crowning moments of greatness that she has had in her life ..Upon this graduation, the young woman moved herself into an old supposedly haunted victorian home on the edge of the city where she now works for the local police in their morgue in town.
  
  The only person that Lydia has ever really been able to be herself around is her pet tarantula, Madame Belize. She found the little arachnid crawling around in the house that she now calls home. Deciding that she wanted to keep the little being, she keeps her in a glass bowl by her bed with soft sand on the bottom and small grassy things for her to hide under. Aside from that though, Madame Belize has free reign to go wherever she wants in the house- and has been known to ride in Lydia's pocket on occasion to work with her.
