• Introduction

  Lagawrd doesn't usually fight and he would naturally attempt to talk his way out of a fight. But this page is to make things a bit more interesting for those who are curious.
  
  Lagawrd is above all an analyst and a problem solver. He attained his magical abilities mostly from intellect and practice, not from genetics. Therefore it took him a while to create, or rather, use a dynamic system to go by. This magical system uses mathematics, and anyone can do it given that they provide time and effort.
  
  Lagawrd has studied many spells and magical abilities and has mathematically reduced some of them to their purest form. Assuming the magic he studied was physically plausible he can use them in a way he himself understands. In case they weren't physically comprehensible, he would naturally attempt to find a way to mimic the effects using mathematical concepts.
  
  He hasn't learned everything yet, he is doing so one at a time. He is the type of guy that will guarantee he would be able to learn anything in time. This process usually takes from minutes to months to years depending on the complexity of the magic/spell he is studying.
  
  The entire body of mathematics is his system, since I cannot possibly explain everything, I will provide some summarized examples to give an idea of how he does what he does:

• Mo'awwiya

  An altered mental sate achieved through meditation, named by Lagawrd as Mo'awwiya. This is the secret to his ability.
  
  - The brain can only process so many things at once, and in simple words the only parts of the brain that are working at a time are the ones receiving a sufficient amount of blood flow. All other parts are either working unconsciously or aren't working at all. Through meditation, Lagawrd can direct little to maximum blood flow at once to a desired part of the brain, in this case the parts of the brain that enhance mathematical thinking. Since Lagawrd is not a natural mage a special type of blood distribution is to be done before any casting of a spell.
  
  However this is also the bottleneck of Lagawrd's abilities. Not only does it require an extra procedure before any magic preparation, but it 'could' have severe side effects depending on the distribution of blood flow during meditation. If there was a high amount of blood flow strictly to the mathematical parts of the brain, he will lose a part of himself in the process (at least until the state of Mo'awwiya ends). For example the part of the brain that distinguishes friend from foe may not function accurately due to lack of brain activity in these areas and may attack relentlessly depending on set mood. His threshold for pain and any physical stress rises tremendously since the parts of the brain that detect physical pain are not active (due to lack of blood flow), so Lagawrd would be able to jump from extremely high places, punch boulders, or get stabbed and will not feel a thing. However he may suddenly fall in battle without warning or feel the tremendous pain all at once after he comes down from the state. (There are ways to solve these problems however)
  
  What it also does is enhance his awareness by flooding his vision with angles, vectors, graphs, numbers, and trajectories that correspond to motions in his immediate environment in real time. This not only enhances his hand to hand combat by visually amplifying prediction rates, but also makes way for him to analyze and solve problems quickly --> which also gives way to performing magic that has been broken down into mathematical concepts his brain can understand and put into action.
  
  Lagawrd never performs magic in random fights. If there was an important battle, he would either aid from a great distance, spend months preparing before entering the battle field, or not use magic at all.
