    The Background

    Violet grew up in a pretty normal household as the youngest of three. Because she was the baby of the group she was usually spoiled (well as spoiled as her parents could afford) and treated with kid gloves. She was her Mom's 'miracle baby.' Both her older brother and sister had a different Mom and she ended up being the only child her Mom could have. She'd lost several before her and another after her before completely giving up. Even though she was only a half sister her older siblings never acted against her or treated her like she wasn't a part of their family.

    The Talent

    In her younger years Vi learned that she was a bit different than her siblings. Unlike those around her she could actually speak with their pets. It was a trait her Mom had seen before thankfully so she knew exactly who her daughter could go to for help understanding her differences. Because of this Violet became pretty close with her Aunt who also had the same ability. To her it was an amazing thing to be able to do because she was able to help injured animals near her home. Though it did have it's downside. Kind of hard to sleep when the local barn owl was hollering outside your window. Or when some of the other nocturnal creatures began scurrying around. Her aunt helped her work on learning to tune little things out that she didn't want to hear. Taught her to focus her ability a little better.

    The Present

    Violet spends most of her current time working at a local clothing store. She had started to go to college to become a vet but had decided not to finish. The amount that college cost far out weighted the end result because she knew she could help animals even without a degree. So she'd found herself a job doing her second favorite thing, working with clothes. Okay so maybe her second favorite thing was buying clothes but it was close enough!
