  She is a physical being, speaking the native language of the wolf; rubbing, licking, nipping and biting. It is as natural to her as the smiling and years of a human being, which often conflicts with the person-like properties of other wolves. Being faced with one who does not understand her primordial canine communication can be frustrating and confusing to Kanji.
  
  Aside from that she is vaguely intelligent and extremely cultured. Kanji wears her self-confidence like a glove, has a bit of a congenial blue-blooded mannerism to her, which can come off as arrogance depending on who she interacts with. She is no bloodthirsty beast but has little fear, won't back down when a challenge presents itself, and doesn't mind using her teeth to get the job done when needed.
  
  To those she loves she is protective and motherly (bordering on bossy). She hovers and watches and warns others against doing anything that would harm them. Inevitably this causes some conflict in her life.

  She was born in Death Valley, in the pack of Oukoku-kai, a massive and highly religious pack led by three mortal gods they called Rosas. Her parents were priests and groomed her to take up their position when she grew, the same to her siblings. Her mother was a lovely being and her father was cold as ice but at the time she loved them both.
  
  The disappearance of her fourth sibling sparked a paranoia in the wolf she could not shake and gave birth to the constant vigilance she held over her remaining siblings, especially Genji, who was clearly her father's chosen despite the issues boiling between the two.
  
  Her history beyond that is somewhat unclear. She escaped the zealot pack and somehow found her way...here...and tries to forget a past that haunts her.
