  • Personality: Reserved at first, but friendly when she gets to know you. Very quirky since she was raised by Houndoom/dour when she was a kid and then spent several years in a government facility.
  • Mannerisms: Always alert, and can be really jumpy in stressful situations. Prefers walking on all fours unless she's around humans. Wears a skull like Cubone does, in order to mimic the bony heads of Houndoom/dour.
  • Likes: Pokemon, the outdoors, freedom, swimming, running, and climbing.
  • Dislikes: Soldiers, laboratories, mean people, guns, and cages.

• Background

  Fangless was found as a baby by a family of Houndoom and Houndour, and was raised in the wild as a part of the pack. She roamed the region with her family and was fascinated by the Two-Paws because they looked like her. Her curiosity was so great that she would frequently spy on the towns that were in their territory. This bold curiosity was nearly destroyed when her family was killed by Government-hired hunters. The hunters had been tracking the dangerous Pokemon to kill them, and when they saw Fangless in their midst, they reported the oddity back to their Government handler. They were instructed to observe her and report back. When their report claimed that she was truly feral and could speak to the Pokemon as if one of them, their handler decided Fangless could be useful to the Government and ordered the hunters to rescue her from the wild Pokemon. While the hunters' had no idea what was in store for Fangless and their intentions may have been good, Fangless sees their "rescue" as murder and kidnapping.
  
  She spent the next several years in a Government facility, overseen by various agents and scientists. There were initially no attempts to educate her since everyone believed she was nothing but teeth and rage. However, one of the scientists was consistently kind to her for long enough that Fangless stopped trying to bite her. Thanks to Dr. Kate's efforts, Fangless was given the name Asami, and was taught how to speak and act like a human. Fangless was smart enough and curious enough to learn quickly, but despite the good doctor's kindness, she never trusted anyone and escaped as soon as she had a chance. She was captured almost immediately, but that didn't deter her at all. Over her stay she escaped at least two dozen times, to the point that she had her own team of special agents that guarded her at all hours of the day. An attack on the city caused her facility to be evacuated, and thanks to some concerned citizens, she managed to escape her handlers.
