  Throughout the history of Anthis, there have been many who have risen from nothing to greatness. Bastion Fafnir was one of those many heroes to rise from the poverty stricken slums to Anthain nobility. Born the only son of a poor widow, Bastion spent his childhood roaming the streets of the slums, stealing anything he could to make sure he and his mother were taken care of. Shortly after his tenth birthday his mother passed away. Devastated and Enraged Bastion ran to the streets, destroying everything he could.
  
  Eventually Magi Knights surrounded him, backing him into a corner. As they bore down upon him after his refusal of surrender, his natural magic awakened. A blinding flash was all that was seen that night, the next day seven Magi Knights were reported missing along with the child Bastion.
  
  Years later, seemingly from nowhere, Bastion emerged in the castle town. He quickly became a star in the arena, demolishing his opponents with unorthodox spells and martial arts. Upon reaching the number one spot in the arena, he was approached by Emperor Exodus Knight and given the opportunity to prove himself among the Anthain high generals. Seemingly with ease, he defeated every general with his unpredictable style. He was made a first class general and given his own squad of Magi Knights.
  
  Through his years of service, his platoon became known as the Xain's Sword, one of the most powerful platoons to have ever graced the Platinum Palace. Bastion Fafnir was killed in the Battle of the Plague along side Emperor Exodus, His memorial forever stands in the palace garden.
  
  But lately, odd rumors have spread around Anthis of people seeing Bastion Fafnir jumping into the Quantum Gate
