• Descriptions

  Personality Hobbes believes strongly in an individual's right to make their own decisions, and refuses to make decisions for a person or directly affect them unless they want it. When it comes to the Hemospectrum, he no longer cares. Hobbes isn't very soft, and can be a huge jerk when he knows that he's right, regardless of whether he actually is or not. He's very passionate about his quadrants, whether he shows it or not, and has a very soft and affectionate side towards his loved ones. Appearance Hobbes' horns are tall and thick, but they do taper as you get further up. Both loop inwards, and come to a sharp point at the very end. Their hair is short, wild and curly, and most of the time they wear it so it covers their eyes. Their eyes are robotic, not that you can tell most of the time. Hobbes can change the color at will, but will usually keep it to the normal spectrum. The default is somewhere around indigo. They have a blunt nose, and a strong jaw. Their body is thick and curvy; they have a generous bust and wide hips, but most of the time they use a binder. They definitely have a belly, but also muscle definition. Mostly, this shows in their arms, but also their back. They have broad shoulders, and by no means are a slight person. They have a lot of scars. Besides the damage their horns have taken, Hobbes also has a fairly new scar on their chest from a stab wound, another scar on their neck from where they got licked with poison, and scars striping under each of their ribs. On top of that, on their right arm they’ve got a bunch of circular scars from getting bit by one of their plants, where a plant parasite took root. They also have a tattoo on their upper left arm; there’s a bunch of flowers there. The colors look chaotic, but they have meaning to Hobbes. And speaking of chaotic, there’s the way they dress. Most of the time, they tend to dress business casual, in dark colors and flattering garments. But when they don’t have to work… Hobbes does like color, a lot, and tend to dress in what many would consider an eyesore. Boots and plaid are a staple in their wardrobe. Voice His tones lean towards feminine [Alto leaning towards tenor], but not by much.

  Hobbes begins a career as a lawyer, and almost dies at the hands of an abusive kismesis

  -Model Phase [Sophmore Year of highschool]
  -Attends college to get law degree
  -Gets job as janitor at hospital; meets Dhioni: they osscillate pale and black
  -Meets Azurit: rivalry sparks and they enter a pitch quadrant
  -Becomes defense attorney. Azurit gets a job at the same law firm.
  -Gets a mix of highblood and lowblood cases; can only win highblood cases because of the system
  -Relationship problems with Azurit start as a case for a brownblood starts looking like it might go well
  -Wins case [first lowblood case won]
  -Angers The Church and finds head on porch
  -Starts drinking heavily [doesn't remember this time]
  -Kills a clown in drunken rage; police come to deal with him
  -Kills police
  -Azurit attempts to kill him

  Hobbes begins life on a Colony Planet, and begins to make friends again

  
  
  -Meets Binzyz, who helps him disguise his ship with carnivorous plants, this sparks a love of gardening
  -Starts business of selling carnivorous plants
  -Meets Vitani, and eventually starts a pale quad with her
  -Meets Damien and starts a prickly friendship with Damien
  -Finds out Damien and Vitani are in a red relationship
  -Starts fight with Damien. Gets kicked out of bar. Swears off drinking, again. He and Damien later make up
  -Catches plant parasite.
  -Damien finds out about plant parasite, forces him to see Detrie, the local clinician, and get the spines pulled out of his arm
  
  

  
  

  Hobbes gets a black quadrant, and begins to practice law again

  
  
  -Daxton comes to 214 (the name of the colony planet) looking for a troll Hobbes had already killed, and gets romantically involved with Vitani. Which causes Hobbes to panic, as Hobbes is a little familiar with Enforcers.
  -Hobbes learns that Daxton is going to set up an Enforcer base on 214, and leads a bunch of trolls to stop him. This ends in a blood bath.
  -Hobbes gets Daxton sick with a deadly virus native to the planet, but Vitani gets Daxton got better
  -Hobbes and Daxton eventually settle on a black quadrant
  -Hobbes decides to start up a new law practice.
  
  

  
  

  Hobbes gets a red quadrant, and gets his plant parasite cured

  
  
  -The plant parasite comes out of dormancy, and this time Hobbes reaches out to his friends for help.
  -Goes to Minaru's hive to bring tea for Alphyn, who is sick
  -Minaru cures Hobbes for good, but without discussing it with Hobbes first. Hobbes goes into coma for a while.
  -Hobbes wakes up from coma, Allios locks Minaru and Hobbes in a room together until they make up or kill each other
  -Hobbes and Minaru enter a red quadrant
  -Hobbes, Minaru, and Kaunji enter a red quadrant
  
  

  
  

  Hobbes moves in with his red quadrants, and gets his eyesight fixed

  
  
  -Minaru tells Hobbes about his past, and Hobbes tells Minaru about his
  -Hobbes and dogmom moves into Minaru's treehive
  -A frost kills Binzyz's plants; Hobbes sends him new ones
  -Minaru meets Wilson. Wilson gets bath and moves into hive.
  -Hobbes finds out about the fact that Kaunji has been making clones and Minaru, and been keeping grubs
  -Hobbes gets furious with Wilson for the way he hits on Minaru, and threatens to break his hand. This terrifies Wilson.
  -Kaunji makes Hobbes a magic ring to counter Minaru's magic
  -Snowva tries to teach Hobbes how to navigate blind, as his eyesight is getting worse
  -For christmas, Kaunji gives Hobbes robotic eyes
  
  

  
  

  Hobbes demands transparency from his red quadrants, and they tackle some issues

  
  
  -Hobbes discovers there's a ghost in the hive, named Hydrus. He's upset that there are so many things being kept from him. He and Minaru sort it out.
  -Hobbes finds out Allios can't access his own programming, gets on Kaunji's case.
  -Kaunji loses a grub, which is adopted by the fox lusus
  -Hobbes and Minaru have a real fight that helps their relationship. Hobbes breaks a couch.
  -Hobbes convinces Minaru to hire Ebrose and Ishaan, because Minaru takes on too much by himself. They move the lusii into outside facilities

  -Minaru begins his molt and Hobbes watches over him
  -Hobbes nearly kills Wilson for being near the cocoon
  -Minaru comes out of the cocoon and he and Hobbes frolic for a little while
  
  

  
  

  Hobbes finds out there are yet more secrets from his red quarants, and opens a rodeo with Damien

  
  
  -Hobbes partners with Damien when Damien decides he wants to open a rodeo
  -Kaunji breaks up with Hobbes and Minaru without telling Minaru
  -Hobbes finds out Allios has been being the opposite of helpful, in terms of how he treats Minaru. Gets angry with him.
  -Hobbes figures out why Minaru is so angry and goes with him to confront Kaunji. Kaunji gets yelled at and punched in the face.
  -Surprise! There's been a rapist in the tree the entire time and today he got out
  -Everyone goes over to Kaunji's hive and Hobbes gets Daxton to hunt Casper with him. They do not find Casper
  
  

  
  

  Hobbes gets in hot water with his law practice and the Trash Heap

  
  
  -Vitani does some extremely dangerous stuff, alone, and brushes Hobbes off when they get really concerned. Hobbes and Vitani break up.
  -Hobbes begins a moirailship with Damien
  -Minaru leaves on a trip with Lucien (moirails)
  -Hobbes takes on a case against a highblood, and other trolls from that highblood's organization (from here, referred to as The Trash Heap) get angry. They decide to ambush Hobbes in their office, and manage to stab Hobbes. Hobbes kills one, and breaks the leg of the other before they think better of it and escape. Hobbes texts Daxton for help.
  -Daxton takes Hobbes to Kentlr, and then goes after the troll who hurt Hobbes.
  -Hobbes, high on painkillers, kisses Daxton.
  
  

  
  

  Yvicke gets involved personally, and there's some quadrant shuffling

  
  
  -Daxton gets a new secretary, Khamir. He and Hobbes can't stand each other.
  -Valorn asks Hobbes and Daxton to help him with a particularly nasty ghost problem, and they run into two trolls of note. Nietve, and Swaije, who used to be a part of the Trash Heap, and now want to bring it down.
  -Vitani gets involved in dangerous stuff again, and winds up in a coma
  -Minaru still isn't home, and Lucien tells Hobbes he's kinda been lost to the troll Bermuda triangle. Hobbes is heartbroken, and cannot live in the treehive anymore- they go to stay with Daxton for a bit
  -Hobbes and Daxton get into a red quadrant after some time
  -Nietve learns that he and Swaije are being followed by other members of the Trash Heap, and reach out to Hobbes and Daxton for help. Khamir goes to pick them up, but is attacked by the Trash Heap: he and Nietve sustain injuries, but the three of them get back to Daxton's ship.
  -Yvicke, leader of the Trash Heap, reaches out to Hobbes and Daxton because their going through the trash heap is becoming a problem
  -Nietve and Swaije take Daxton up on his offer to stay on his ship until the problem is resolved.
