• Bio

  Viktor was changed in the year 1910 at the age of 24. He was a footman at a large house in New York. It was a guest from India who changed his life. She offered him a job in her home after taking a liking to him during her stay and, wanting to see the world, Viktor accepted. He had no idea of her pure blood status until three days after he arrived at her home. She woke him in the middle of the night, accompanied by her husband, to tell him what they were and offer him eternal life. Horrified, thinking they were demons the moment he saw their fangs he screamed out and cried for help, but the other staff, all vampires themselves, had been previously informed to do nothing. The woman and her husband forcefully bled Viktor and fed him from their wrists before leaving him to endure the the painful changes alone in his room. He barely spoke for months after, mortified but what had happened, but didn't dare leave. He had no idea how to survive this way without the family's help so it was his only option. Several times he attempted to end his life, but no amount of wrist slashing or pill swallowing seemed to do the trick, and someone even managed to cut him down in time when he strung himself from the chandelier.
  
  Years later, having come to terms with his new identity (if not still suffering from PTSD), Viktor left the house in the night and boarded a ship back to the Americas. He worked as a footman in a new house for a while, claiming he was a war veteran when the night terrors woke the other staff. He made a few close friends over the years, but always had to leave when they became suspicious of his never changing face.
  
  Now he lives in a highly populated, suburban area, works in a bar at night and is just trying to get by.
