• The Man

  Harsh and unbending, he is a man used to the roils of war and the ides of time. He is short of temper and is just as likely to break your jaw as he is to send you to the headsman for your crime; cruel as he may be, his bride has a calming effect on him, and when she is near he is capable of being a very sympathetic, understanding, and mild mannered King with gentle words and empathetic judgement. Should you find yourself as witness to a crime, or there to report one, You will see the kind and understanding side of your king.
  
  But should you be clapped in irons and set before his throne for a crime worthy to be put in his court, count yourself lucky if you see yourself only sentenced to death by hanging. Should fate frown upon you, you may find yourself beaten by your Lord, your hand stomped hard enough for the blood to swell and burst the skin of your fingers, and then be drawn and quartered by a triplicate of warhorses.

  Intimidation, terror, a voice like rolling thunder, malicious eyes, barely contained rage, a shadow as vast as the ocean. You receive your sentence, you object and you are struck down by a walking mountain in armored clothing. Now you are going to die, AND our jaw is broken by one kick from a steel plated boot.
  This is the King of Lorvaan, Lord Macraan Vasueas.
  
  A very large man, formerly a dock worker during the Exodus from Tolmerain over 1700 years ago, he now rules with the harsh efficiency of a Lorvaan winter storm.
  Native to the land, he is a large and muscular man, bearing several runic tattoos on his back and shoulders with a large, shovel like beard bearing a weight stone tied into it. his skin is dark with many years at war and under the sun on the Docks, wrinkled with the passage of time and not a single grey hair stands out on his beard or his long and swept back hair.
  
  He wears kingly robes fit for a Jarl at war, rather than a high noble Lord of the kingdom. He wears a blood red Gambeson beneath a Kingsmaille hauberk of polished brass and gold, with a large cloak clasped about his shoulders, brigandine armor lacing the inside of it with the pelt of a large albino Wargall sewn onto the outside, hiding the sense of it being armored. He wears gauntlets lined with the same albino fur of the Wargall, its claws set upon the knuckles of his armored fists, and his boots are a similar design, also bearing the talon like claws of the wargall upon the toe of the boots Sabaton, the ice white fur fluffing out of the top and ankle of the boots. All in all, it must weigh an easy 80 pounds.
  
  a large battle axe rests forever by his side, his kingly scepter if you will, its blade bearing the large teeth of the Wargall's lower jaw, set into the metal as it was melted into shape, giving the blade a deeply intimidating and serrated appearance. The top half of it's skull rests on his helm, only removed from it's place on the top of his throne during times of war
