  This character has multiple versions. One is for Bayville in Imaginarium and the other is for New Versailles in FurN. Please do not get the two confused.

  Mutation: Pyrokinesis. Quoted from the Marvel Wiki "A pyrokinetic is a person capable of generating flames from thin air, not requiring the consumption of oxygen or combustible objects to maintain the flames..." Pyrokinesis has a lot of room for development. Currently Sophie is capable of creating fire projectiles that explode on contact, burn nearly anything she touches (which also super-heats it and can bring metals such as steel to their melting point), absorb flames and heat, produce firebreath, put fires out mentally, general pyrokinesis, spontaneously combust to cover herself entirely in fire without any harm coming to herself, and create intense and concentrated flames like a blowtorch or flamethrower. She can also switch her vision between normal and UV which allows her to see heat signatures.
  
  Weaknesses include being weak against large amounts of water, extended use causes exhaustion and fatigue to the point of passing out, it is all emotionally controlled. Which is to say that she's got little control at all. She is physically human and has no extraordinary abilities like enhanced speed or strength and can be killed just like any other human being. Her energy is depleted quickly and she hates the cold. She can only use her powers for about half an hour continuously before exhausting herself and strong bursts (at current max power) will only last at most five minutes before she becomes exhausted. Her anger is much like a firework. Really impressive for about 10 seconds and then it's over. When she gets really worked up, her hair will generate embers, like sparks, that float over her head for a few inches before vanishing.
  
  Secondary Mutation: Thermokinesis. She is able to manipulate temperatures around her, lowering and raising it (it currently is not under her control unless she has physical contact), and can send waves/blasts of massive heat from her hands and mouth. She can't lower temperatures beyond what they originally were. Cold temperatures make her feel sick in varying stages but hot temperatures rejuvenate her and give her a boost in energy. Her skin temperature ranges from 110F to 120F depending on her mood. Internal temperature is between 120F and 140F, though will flare higher if she is using her power.
  
  Physical Description: An athletic 5'10" redhead as innocent as a sailors vocabulary with a fiery temper to match. Freckles a shade darker than her skin were dotted irregularly across her face and back of her neck, disappearing under the collar of her top. Primarily clothed in a light colored shirt and dark pants, the woman dressed for comfort rather than style. A necklace made of shiny beads and a pair of bracelets on both wrists were the only adornments she wore. A lack of cosmetics made hazel eyes shine bright. They might have even been friendly... were they not frequently narrowed in a glare.
  
  Personality: Hotheaded and jumps to conclusions easily. Often thinks she knows what's best and tends to judge others very quickly. She swears like a sailor and drinks like one, too. She gets riled up way too fast -- there's no telling what could set her off. Needless to say, her fuse is short and she has little patience for much of anything. Sophie is a good person when it comes down to it, but she's not the kind of girl you'd bring home to mother. Not even as a friend.

  Physical Description: Sophie is a thin 5'10" with pale skin and fiery red hair. Her eyes are a dark brown and surrounded with naturally thick ebony lashes. Her body is average for a girl her age, not fully developed. She normally wears modest clothes in bold colors and wears her hair down in long straight layers. Her expression is often neutral but guarded. She wears loose bracelets around both wrists made of titanium beads and a matching set of beaded necklaces she rarely removes. A pair of leather gloves cover her hands almost constantly.
  
  Personality: Short and to the point. She doesn't sugarcoat anything, calls it as she sees it, and often points out the obvious. She's not rude or mean but can't be called friendly either. Her general mood is apathetic.
  
  History: Sophie Devlin was born to generic parents in a generic town. She had a generic older brother (also a mutant) and lived in a generic house. But she was anything but generic. Sophie was smart and was the perfect child. She never disobeyed, never argued, or fought with her brother. She always cleaned up after herself without being told and did her homework without hesitation. Neither of her parents were mutants, so it was a shock when their son (Carter Devlin, NPC) was revealed to be a mutant and the problem child that ever family with more than one child inevitably has. He was shipped off to some military school. Although they did not fight they also did not get along and his departure didn't bother her.
  
  His sister was left in a public school. Without her brother there, the bullies at the school decided that she was now an easy target. The bullying began in middle school and continued on through her sophomore year of high school. It was not just verbal but became physical as well. This began a long period of depression that morphed into something that she embraced: hatred. The lovely, perfect child her parents had raised was gone and in her place was a spiteful, angry teenager with little respect for anyone. She lashed out at those who wanted to help her and at anyone who attempted to befriend her. When she did allow someone to get close she learned that it was just a trick to make her the victim of a cruel prank.
  
  Her power manifested itself at the one and only party she was invited to during high school. After she felt like she had finally made friends and that the apologies she received from the hosts for the years of bullying were genuine, Sophie was turned into a laughing stock in seconds. It happened much like in the classic movie Carrie. Sophie was brought up to the back porch of the home and when she was standing there someone from the second story dumped an entire bucket of maple syrup down.. right onto her. It was followed quickly by a second bucket of feathers. Humiliated, Sophie watched as everyone laughed at her until she felt hot. Her face burned red and everything else felt hot. A moment later she screamed and fire combusted around her, encasing her from head to toe. Furiously she swore she would get them all back for the pain and humiliation they had caused her... and she did. The entire house was soon engulfed in flames. Luckily no one was seriously hurt but she soon found herself in police custody.
  
  She was charged with arson in the second degree and sentenced to two years in juvenile (juvie). While there she had a lot of time to think and decided she did not want to be the person she had become. When she was released she was 16 years old and was given three years of probation. There were several incidents while she was away which further proved her mutant status. She learned her powers ("curse", as she calls them) were triggered by heightened emotions and has begun learning to control herself better, though her temper is still quite explosive. It took another year before she completed her education by getting her GED and took off on her own with her meager savings.
  
  After a few months on the road, she found herself in Bayville. She landed a job as a cook in the local cafe until a run-in with a mutant enthusiast with less than honorable intentions. To protect herself and those she had come to view as friends, she quit that job and found work elsewhere. She briefly stayed with other students at Xavier's Institute for Higher Learning but after a dangerous mutant took shelter there with the rest of her group, Sophie decide she needed to leave. In the end she joined the Brotherhood where she remains so far.
