• Description

  Elo is an Android. A robot created by a company, then abandoned and left to rot. He has no gender, but I refer to him as "he" since he looks like a boy, and originally was meant to be a "male" android. His hair is an unnatural maroon color, and is short. It does not grow unless the owner of the android buys a cartridge that makes it. Since no one uses androids anymore, the cartridges no longer exist.
  
  During his time in the dump, the left side of Elo's body had corroded a bit. The thin, cloth-like covering over the metal body of the android is gone, leaving just a clean metal sheet where once there was "skin". His left arm is nothing but metal. His face is missing his left eye.

• Biography

  Inherent Inc. A company responsible for the "Androids," controversial robots than can apparently feel and make decisions for themselves. Sentient tools for the household. They clean and cook, as long as you tell them. Basically, slaves of the twenty-third century.
  
  Most people found this unacceptable, and so Inherent Inc. was shut down. All Androids destroyed. Except for a few, who, being sentient and not wanting to die, ran. They would never hurt anyone, so many died as the y ran for their lives, but one, with the help of the others, escaped. His battery quickly died, seeing as solar power charged him and they escape was at night. Running from the people with hammers and fire had drained him, and he fell, processing all the information of the night, into a dumpster, where he slept.
  
  Little did Elo know, "sleeping" for androids was when they were to recharge, and the dumpster was emptied as he "slept," the little android never facing the sun long enough to power up. He was tossed as the garbage was tossed, into a barge far away form the factory, and far away from land. One day, a young homeless boy was sifting through the trash, and found Elo. He uncovered him, and the little bot began to charge as the sun hit his face. He woke up, clicking, and the boy jumped back. Elo looked to his hands, one of them corroded and broken, the other still eerily human like. The boy looked to him as well, Elo's sensors pricking at his voice. "Hello," the boy said. "My name is Thomas."
  
  The two were best friends for a long time. Thomas came to realize just how real these androids were. Then one day, Thomas wasn't there. The dump was empty of any human life, and Elo found that all the homeless had been driven away.
  
  This is where Elo's story picks up.
