• Description

  Overview - Goblins are a nuisance creature. They adore shiny things, and will usually attack people for them. They have just below human intelligence. They show a blatant disregard for reason most of the time, and have difficulty solving simple puzzles - They have no written language, and speak a broken version of whatever language is local to the area. There is believed to be an actual 'goblin' language, but it only contains eighteen words.. Six of them are different variants for the word 'shiny'.
  
  Weapons - Goblins are scavengers, and marauders. This means they take what they can get from the unsuspecting. However, they have less physical strength than humans, and thus, cannot wield heavier weapons. They usually use spears, and shortswords. Some of them (In regions where this is accessible) Carry flintlock pistols or blunderbusses, but use them a s clubs, as they cannot figure out how to reload them.
  
  Armor - Generally, they are not well known in crafting armor. Thus, they take what they can get - Usually they wear childs clothes, and strap wood or thin metal onto their arms or chests for protection. They are usually barefoot, regardless of climate. Overall, they are not well protected from any sort of weapons.
  
  Tribes - It is most common to see goblins either travel, or hold up, in large groups. Goblins 'tribes' are led by the largest, most fierce goblin in the tribe (Generally, a hobgoblin).
  
  Homes - Goblins are known to either set up crude tents in the woods, or simply hide out in caves. Larger tribes have been known to overrun small hamlets, or hold out in old ruins. A goblin hole can contain any number of treasures pilfered overtime. In coastal areas, they have been known to sometimes take over small boats, and attack other small boats. Yet, this usually ends in disaster, for the goblins.
  
  Behavior - Though generally hostile, they can be bought out. By offering them more gold/silver/polished stones than they have, they can even be made to do the bidding of others. In the past, they have been used as a first assault during major battles - They are free, because they usually die almost immediately.
  
  Goblin Classifications -

  Goblins - Standard Goblins

  Hobgoblins - Larger, heavier goblins; usually the chieftain of their tribes. Much harder to kill

  Wood Goblins - Puny, benign goblins. A foot shorter than standard goblins. They tend to try and steal things, in a manner similar to a magpie.
