• Description

  Elora is a sarcastic and witty woman to those she meets, but in truth she is kind and gentle with those she is closest to. She is a woman who values knowledge over power, and her days as First to Keeper Deshanna were spent eagerly absorbing any and all knowledge her people could find about the ancient elves. It is for this reason she initially grows close to Solas: although it takes a few days for her to believe what knowledge he has, she comes to see it as truth and realises the Dalish have gotten many things about her history wrong.
  
  She is closest to Solas, and Cassandra and Dorian due to their humour and sarcastic natures, though she gets along well with all of her companions, even if she needs to keep her patience with Sera.
  
  She spent a lot of her time with Solas, having found herself attracted to him during the journey to Skyhold when she spent most of her time with him, and she was heartbroken and confused when he left the inquisition. She is fearful of returning to her clan with a bare face, but remains hopeful that they will accept her and her tales of the ancient elves. She misses Solas greatly, but refuses to allow herself to think too much of him whilst she throws herself into her work and books.
  
  Elora figured out from the painting in the stables that Solas was Fen'Harel, and though she remains skeptical about the fact, she knows that if she were to reunite with Solas she would try to put it behind her in order to find out where they stand.

• Biography

  Elora grew up wary of humans, but not hateful against them, and it was for this reason she was chosen to be trained as First for Deshanna. This delighted her, for it gave her access to all the information and knowledge her clan had about the ancient elves. She was generally kind and loving to her clan members, but in her interactions with humans she was often sarcastic and seen as passive aggressive.
  
  Elora met the Hero of Ferelden at the Arlathven that convened after the end of the blight, and at twenty years old was in awe and wonder at the woman's travels. It gave her a new perspective to the humans which she wished to explore, and so she was also chosen as the middle contact between the Lavellan clan and the humans. On one such journey to the cities she came across a wounded city elf in the forests, who attacked her out of fear of the stories he had heard about the Dalish. She still bears the scar on her cheek from his knife.
