• Description

  After a lengthy Special Forces career during which he operated in 22 separate combat zones, John left the United States military in favor of the life of a mercenary. He joined up with a PMC group immediately and rose quickly through the ranks, demonstrating both a remarkable skill in small-unit and single-operative missions and a willingness to undertake even morally questionable tasks without complaint. His specialization in infiltration missions, more specifically his talent for eliminating targets and undetected exfiltration, earned him the codename "Spectre."
  
  While proficient with most weapon systems, his weapons of choice are M4-platform rifles and semi-automatic handguns (M1911-variants in particular.) He is also highly skilled in hand-to-hand combat and with knives. He finds explosives distasteful and avoids their use whenever possible. Long-range marksmanship is above-average, but he does not and will not operate as a sniper unless he must. Crew-served weapons, armor, and aircraft are also beyond his scope, and he has no training as a pilot or armored vehicle crew.
  
  John once wore a typical soldiers hairstyle, but now sports shoulder-length brown hair and a short beard. He is heavily scarred, especially on his face and torso. Most of his facial scarring appears to be from knife wounds and surgical procedures, while those on his torso are more ragged. Psychological scarring, as well, has manifested itself as a stoic personality, showing minimal emotions and speaking only when absolutely necessary. He is quiet, withdrawn, and solitary. Whenever possible, he operates alone though he can function as part of a small team when required.
