Children of the Forest

The Children of the Forest is an elven species. These elves are usually very tall and stunning. They are nocturnal creatures, and the daylight will make them temporarily blind if they're not used to it. They live in "camps", which consists of tents. The biggest tent, which will be the king's tent, is located in the center of the King's Camp and serves as both home for him and his family, but also his office. The tents around the king's tent are usually the noble elves, and all noble elves can be recognized by their black hair and eyes. All elves are incredibly beautiful, but the noble elves are the most stunning creatures.
Elves wear simple clothes - women wear a knee-length dress and men wear pants and a shirt. The clothes are green in the summertime, and brown during the winter. They wear soft leather shoes, and they never wear or use metal. They use no kind of jewelry, except or the occasional flower in the women's hair, and they wear no makeup. They eat very plain food, which consists mostly of what they can find and hunt in the forest, plus food they can get from trading their goods.

Elves are usually carefree creatures, and spend their time dancing, singing, playing games and just having plain fun. They don't consider their work as being "real" work, since they take pleasure in doing it. They are brutally honest, and will tell you what they like and do not like. They find humans noisy, annoying and they are actually scared of them. They put protection spells around their camps to keep them safe from humans, and they rarely interacts with them. They will do mostly anything to stay hidden from humans.
