  Personality
  Nyx comes off as aloof to most people initially, but is actually very kind and caring. Get's extremely focused on their current project, to the point of pushing others away or forgetting other responsibilities. Spends almost all of the time in a feminine form and loves some good innuendo or puns.
  
  Strengths
  Expert brewer of potions and master of ritual magic, shapeshifter and water manipulator. Many millennia old student of necromancy. Immunity to most forms of damage or death and extremely high pain tolerance.
  
  Weaknesses
  Heat exhaustion, over reliance on damage immunity to take down stronger foes. Can be harmed, or even killed, through protective magic with strong enough or persistent enough assaults.

  Background
  Nyx is an ocean spirit, as such they are technically as old as the ocean itself, they are capable of remembering things that happened before they were first coaxed out of the water. Water spirits are born when their conciousness is called from the water to take form. They were born several millennia ago by the Matriarch of Clan Tidewalker, she raised Nyx for several years, teaching them all she knew of potion brewing. The matriarch was sick for almost all of Nyx's life since they were born and the clan healers were unable to figure out what was killing her. Nyx delved deep into more taboo arts after their mother passed away, searching for ways to avoid a repeat of what took their mother. SEveral centuries passed, the Clan tolerating Nyx's experiments because of how adept they were at healing and the other many useful magical brews they could create.
  As the world grew harsher the current elders of the clan warned about an oncoming storm, the council leaders decided that they would convert their warships into arks of salvation, the clan would take to the sea to search for a safe new place to call home, a place called the infinite abyss, an ocean of unfathomable size and depth, the winds were always calm, floating islands dotted the ocean and fish of all kinds a plenty. Said to be the heaven of sailors. The clan left their homes, Nyx decided to stay behind, to continue their research. With the clan no longer around some of the old factory systems quickly fell into disrepair as Nyx devoted most of their time to being able to now openly study necromancy.
  Clan members and leaders of the other clans have remained behind as well, coming together for protection, companionship and because frankly, the other option is total isolation and that's boring.
