  stat and attack explanation

  
  
  Hp: Hp recovers outside combat only 20% for every hour passed. Items and abilities can heal ones health in or out of battle. Hp stands for health points.
  Mana: Mp is consumed every time an attack is used. Jabs only use 1Mp. Mp stands for mana points Mp consumption is the original Mp x level.
  Exp level and stat caps: exp needed to level increases by 10xlevel+previous levels needed exp. So 110 for level 1, 130 for level 2, 160 for level 3, and so on. There is no level cap and only speed, accuracy, and luck have stat caps. Speed ends at 100, accuracy at 150, and luck at 60.
  Damage calculations: attacks and moves are put into percentages. Example - chaos shot is 5% so it's damage is 5% of (attack power - enemy defence) if enemy defence is 10 and attack power is 20 then 20-10=10 x0.5=2 so it does 2 damage. On the chance of decimals its rounded down.
  Levels: Every level earns 10 stat points that one can do with as they please. Hp and mp increase by 10 for every point added.
  Stat costs: Hp and Mp cost 1 point. Attack power and Magic power cost 1.1 points. Defence and Magic defence cost 1.2 points. Luck and speed cost 2 points. Sp costs 10 points.
  Crits: For every point of luck every number below that on a roll equals a critical hit. Crits are 2x without item boosts or bonuses. Every 30 points in luck increases the multiplier by 1x
  Ultimates: are maxed at 1000% for every Sp they consume, which is the highest percentage possible, if they do not have lasting effects. If they have a lasting effect the max they can have is 800% and 5 turns (this does not count for status effects). Every use uses up an SP point which replenishes after a fight has been declared ended. Can also be recovered using items, usually rare. Can only have 1 ultimate.
  Attacks in combat: number of attacks are done through speed. For every 15 points in speed you get another attack. If an attack has multiple hits there is an additional roll added before the first two to determine how many hits there are, and then proceed rolls 1 and 2 for every hit.
  Fisty cuffs: regular jabs And other attacks that are with the hands can be made numerous times but are only 0.5% damage. Crits with a regular fist though are locked at 5 luck regardless of how high you've built it up, and a crit is 400% damage.
  Weapons: have percentages of their own, elements, and added effects sometimes.
  Accuracy and evasion: first roll is for hit or miss. Second roll is for crit or regular. The way the roll works is simple. 100-(Accuracy-enemy reflex) Can not go lower then 1. Rolls are out of 100. Anything higher then the number is a miss.
  Elements: Water>fire, fire>life, life>earth, earth>wind, wind>lightning, lightning>water, light=dark hit the weakness and it is an instant crit. Can still crit roll for a double crit.

  Raking shadows: Raking the air releases shockwaves of shadows that can cut into foes. Can rake up to 50 times.

  Thunder orb: Collects electricity into an orb. Every turn it collects increases power by 50% the first turn only increases by 40%.

  Shrike: collects energy into the claws. Upon contact it releases dark magic into its target. Every turn it charges increases power by 100%, the first turn only increases by 80%

  Shroud: a double sided ability. The first facet of it allows the user to melt into shadows swiftly and reappear within another shadow. The second is it causes the area twenty feet around the user to be engulfed in darkness. The first facet of shroud can't be used but other attacks and abilities can be used. Only light from Magic abilities and attacks can light up the darkness. It's density is determined by the magic power rather then defence. (Magic power - enemy Magic power for every ten it gives a foot of light.) Lasts for 10 turns if not dispelled.

  Flash: creates a massive flash that blinds anyone who is looking. Decreases accuracy by 1/4 for 4 turns. Allies roll out of 6 if they are not warned. A 1 means a fail and they are blinded as well. Any other number means they covered their eyes in time.

  Lightning pulse: sends a pulse of electricity in a frontal wave. 50% chance to paralyze anyone hit.

  Chaotic Miasma: let's a poisonous fog roll out. All non-light or dark attributed beings are poisoned. 100% hit chance. Roll out of 10 on initial turn after use for percentage dealt. Only effects those at his height or lower. If in an enclosed room increase damage done by poison by 1% each turn. Will climb 5ft every turn while in walled off area.

  Blitz: forced to all fours as one charges. Takes three turns to charge before letting out a random elemental blast from the users maw.

  Unleashed: let's loose a massive dark element explosion. Afterwords Xero is transformed into a true Worven Esker. Fur covers over his entirety, his face now a worven's, standing as a full grown man, tail, claws, ram horns atop head, and spikes in the shape of curved blades (curving backwards) go down from the top of his head to the tip of his tail where eight spikes sprout off all around the end, splitting near the top in two directions. From his wrists the same style of curved bones poke out from the outer side, nearly able to touch his elbows at full extension. Remains in this form for 10 turns. All attacks while in this form are doubled in damage. Blitz takes 2 turns to charge. Shrike takes 1 turn to be at full power. Thunder Orb takes 1 turn to be at full power. Can used for less SP but reduces power and turn bonuses By 1/5 for every Sp less, with the added effect of enraged.

  description

  
  Xero is what is known as an Esker, a half Verask, half beast. Taboo by culture, most don't dare such acts, but some more intelligent beasts find love in a Verask. Xero is one such child born of such a union. A Worven at that. Beasts feared as the guardians to the dark God Feraskal. His skin is purplish black while patches of pitch black fur covers the backs of his hands, feet, chest, and down his spine. Other oddities about him are his tail, which is of the same black fur, fangs which jut out just slightly over his bottom lip, and claws on his hands and feet. Above all are the horns atop his head that curl around to reach parallel to the back of his head. His facial features are childish, but hardened from war, with piercing yellow eyes and black, shaggy hair that extends down into sideburns That could be mistaken for a beard. A slightly more pointed nose then others, harbouring a good sense of smell, and ears like his father's, jet black wolf ears that pick up on most sounds quiet well.
  

  
  
  

  personality

  
  Having seen war like the rest of the Verask, he has turned into a hardened veteran. Always on the run he is weary, suspicious of others motives. This is odd though since he seems to want to reach out to others, helping those in need and in trouble, risking his own life for the sake of others. The only thing he doesn't do is take off his hood. No one has seen what lies underneath since the last caravan he was in. His reasoning his own.
