Esmerelle Yeedan

The Anomaly herself

• Up close

  Esmerelle Yedaan is a strange sight as far as most peahens go. No drab or earthy colors like the normal birds, but instead having the vibrant male colors of blues and greens, even having the long and glamorous tail plumage.
  Esme stands at five and a half feet tall, her figure slim but curvy, a flat belly and c-cup breasts often hid behind a black bra. Mid way down her calves and forearms, feathers give way to scales, her fingertips ending in talons, often painted.
  Her digitigrade feet, three long toes forward and one back, ending in larger talons, which she often paints in the same colors. Her hair, often long and wavy is a pale blue green in which reaches down to the middle of her back, occasionally she'll tie it in a pony tail.
  Her eyes are a soft green color, a mixture of malachite and moss. What flesh that shows is black as coal, the scales of her arms and feet are of the same color. Esmerelle is as dexterous as she can be, near double jointed and some speculate that she may be a contortionist.
  Vigorous training and practice keep her as flexible as she can be, it takes a lot of work to do everything from waltz to pole dancing. Her wings sprout from her shoulders and are the only 'drab' colors of her body.
  Long wingspan, broad feathers of brown, black, and white, strong enough to allow her to glide if she needs, though she keeps them kept collapsed down to keep from bumping anything.

• Behind the veil

  Before Esme was born, Esmerelle was to be one of two twins, particularly to have a brother. During early development, Esme's embryo absorbed her unfortunate weaker brother. The absorption was incomplete, which was also known by the doctors and her own parents.
  When Esme was born, it was noted that she was in fact very healthy, if not having some strange formations. As her first feathers grew in, her parents quickly noticed the colorful downy feathers and took her to specialists to be examined. It was concluded that she had an extensive form of heterochromia, one in which she had a female structure and organs but with male feather formations and colors. Esmerelle was in and out of hospitals and clinics for years during her infancy, and around the age of five she was cleared from monitoring.
  During her early childhood after the age of seven, she was sought out by modeling agencies who wanted to have her in studios for her unique looks, some fashion lines even begging to have her show off kids clothes. A few years passed before she was tossed around some seedier modeling companies that asked her to pose in more 'revealing' manners.
  Esmerelle was often away from her parents for this and did so happily, it got her attention and she made friends in the process. By the age of twelve she had met one of the photographers who ended up forming a very intimate relationship with her, which Esme tends to keep quiet about unless she feels it is necessary to talk about it.
  After she was pulled out of her modeling career, she followed her mother to a dance studio where she would watch her mother teach lessons. Dancing was something that fascinated the young peahen and she even found herself working in the classes even if it was just to play around.
  Eventually, Esmerelle joined in the class, learning ballet, ballroom, waltz, and some salsa dancing. By the time Esmerelle was fifteen, she had all but mastered every kind of dance her mother could teach her, and she had to beg to be taught dirty dancing and eventually pole dancing.
  Esme's looks landed her many love letters from boys in school, and her lessons in dance often gave her a blissful grace in her very stride, one she was more than proud to show off. Around this time, Esme was starting to enjoy more revealing clothing, midriff exposing shirts, short skirts, stockings, high heeled shoes and sandals. Esme was quite a looker, and she knew it.
  During high school she went through boyfriends fairly quickly but made plenty of friends in doing so. When she was seventeen she found herself dating a young feline and discovered her sexual preference of being a bi bisexual with a very heavy female preference. Her relationship with this young cat was cut short as the felines parents had to move, leaving Esme broken hearted but healing with the help of her parents.
  At the age of eighteen, Esmerelle's mother decided that she could no longer take part in the family. The tragedies and misfortunes that seemed to swirl around Esme had weighed on her mind to a level that she could no longer bare. The divorce was gentle and clean with Esme's mother gaining enough money to start her own life again without any pain.
  Esmerelle warmed up to her father who quickly adopted her sense of humor which helped to smooth things out as she was still living with him. While he took on multiple jobs to keep the funds high enough to be comfortable, Esmerelle played a role of a 'house wife' for him, going so far as to set up impromptu date nights for herself and him to relax. While these events were scandalous at times, it rarely went further than a home cooked meal, some alcohol, and maybe a raunchy movie or two. A favorite of hers was to dress in some revealing clothes to 'help him relax' as well as intentionally pick a bad pornographic movie to pick fun at it.
  Esmerelle decided to stay living with her father, who signed over the dance studio and 'business' to Esme, who took it up with pride. She teaches a small class of students who she takes on competitions if she feels they are up to it. Occasionally Esmerelle gets back in contact with old friends from school and has parties but always comes home to sweet memories and loving friends.
