• Personality

  Upon first meeting the fairy, he seems like a very scared little creature with his constant stutter. Yet getting to know him, it can be seen that he isn't that scared of things. After overcoming any worry of being eaten, Daichi becomes a very curious, and excitable young man. Despite his age, he seems to know little about the world outside of his home grove. This lack of knowledge leaves him appearing naive, but he is quite excited to learn about anything he can.

• Spring apperance

  Springing To Life

  Daichi's snow white skin melted away to reveal a light green color underneath and his freckles have become a brilliant gold color-sparkling like dew in the morning sun. He sheds his furs for clothes made of green leaves and flower petals. A simple leafy green halter top and pink skirt made to look like giant petals is an outfit he is found of. His hair too, like the rest of him, has blossomed into a light pink color.

  
  
  Daichi changes depending on the season, however there are some constant features to him that are not necessary to describe.His eyes are always red and his hair style is always the same, and his dragonfly wings are always orange.
  
  Under wraps->underneath the bandages that Daichi tends to fidget with are thick dark burn scars. Burns not from fire but from cold iron bands that had been kept on him for months until Whisp saved him at the auction house. Even with medical care and salve, the scars still remain the the damage has been done. When possible this short far can be seen hovering instead of walking in the ground and trying not to move his wrists too quickly or lift items, as these actions cause him pain.

• Summer appearance

  Soak Up The Sun

  The green of Daichi's brought spring colors have dulled and his freckles have shifted from gold to leafy green as well. His hair settled into a yellow color, giving off the pressing that he is the sun. In fact, the fae feels like a warm summer day to the touch now, and even standing near him can make others feel good warmth. He too recognized his body's temperature and wears as little clothing possible. He is most often donning a smile pair of shorts made leaves.

• Autumn appearance

  Apple of my eye

  A short male with reddish skin, covered in freckles from head to toe. His red hair is cut to his shoulders and looks like it was sloppily cut by someone who didn't care. His face is round with large child-like red eyes, giving him an appearance of being quite young. His ears are pointed, with the tips extending to the same height of the top of his head. He wears a golden earring in the cartilage of his right ear, the area around the piercing looking dark as if it is infected or burned.
  Growing off of his back at the four things that set this elf-like creature apart from being only an elf: wings. The two sets of wings are orange-translucent in color and dragonfly shaped, with the lower pair 2/3's the size of the larger pair. The larger pair extends about half an arms length above his head.
  His clothing looks as if it was made of plants (it is). He wears a half cape (with an open back) that is dark orange or brown and goes to his elbows with a large [autumn flower] clasp holding it together. Under he has a "green halter" that is made of some kind of leaf.

• Winter appearance

  He's got cold feet

  Thick furs covered the fae's body, yet he constantly sought out the warmest location. Everything about him looked as white as early morning after a night of snowfall. However, he didn't look peaceful like undisturbed snow, for his appearance was unsettling; like someone who had been frozen in the snow. Lips a vibrant blue color and checks hollow as an animal unable to find forage in the deep winner freeze. Even his freckles reflected the struggle of the season, note the color of grey-blue footprints from an animal's fruitless search. The only thing that made this fairy stand apart from a corpse was his bright lively eyes and orange wings.

  There were three rather unusual things about this elf eared humanoid. The first is his body's color scheme; skin that is a pale red color, with darker red ((golden/yellow?)) freckles covering his body from head to toe. His eyes are a darker shade of red, like that of a macintosh apple and seemed to match the color of his chin length hair. On the cartilage of his right ear hung a gold earring. The second feature about his body is the set of semi-transparent glossy orange dragonfly wings that sprout from his back. This young man is a fae! The last of his features is his scent; even the weakest of noses will pick up on the smell of fresh apples when this fairy flutters his wings. Stronger smellers may notice more of a baked or burnt apple aroma as well. For clothes he tends to wear light and airy fabrics, such as open back halter top shirts. Anything to let his wings be free. The only tight fitting part of his attire are bandages on both his wrists and ankles.
  
  The loss of his art->with his wrists hurting at every little movement, Daichi's love of playing music may only be a memory for him now. He might still be able to play a small flute or other wind instrument with little hand motion needed, but his love affair with strings may be [some romantic word that means lost] for good.

• History & Skills

  A fairy captured on the lands below by someone who only wanted to make a quick buck off of a pretty creature, Daichi was passed between a few slavers who quickly sold him off to the next for a nice size gain. Many seemed to want this strange winged creature but had no mind to train him and only sell him off to someone else. Until he was mistakenly transported with a group sold cheaply up to the Caverns of the Bound.
  Far from his family and the safety of his home, the short fairy has found his entrapment confusing. One day he was flying about, helping his little sister learn to fly, the next he was in a bottle!
  
  A well off looking canine came to Starlight Escape one day and took notice of Daichi. He quickly requested to purchase the slave off of Azure and left with him. Daichi tried to make polite conversation with him but the gentle talking, wealthy, furry had become cold to him. They traveled far, far from the Sphere and for a moment, Daichi was sure he was on earth! Then he saw Them; three humans that had captured him all that time ago. Oh how he thought he had escaped them! He was handed over to them, the canine reimbursed for what he had paid. It had been a set up! One of the men burned Daichi's papers, stating "where you're going, these will be useless."
  All hope of ever getting home left Daichi as the three men started to search for a wizard willing to pay an outlandish price for one fairy. How was he going to escape this time? Last time he found a way to slip in with a group of slaves getting transported somewhere, which is how he had ended up at Starlight Escape. However this time the men wised up to him, keeping a close eye on him and putting cold iron bonds on his wrists and ankles.
  The three men traveled for months, dragging Daichi around with them. One morning, one of the men came to the others and said he found a wizard interested in buying the fae off of them. As the men rejoiced, Daichi decided he had to think quickly. The city they were in had a slave auction house. So he decided he would find a way to trick at least one of them into putting him up for sale there. Anything was better than becoming ingredients to a wizard, or worse getting his wings plucked! (Yes, to live without his wings was more terrifying than dying.)
  He watched the other two men pour themselves drinks as the first went off to finalize the deal. This was his only chance! Although he was never good with spells and curses, he had try. He cast a spell on their drinks to make the men think he was just a "winged elf" that they needed to sell at auction. As they drank, Daichi could see it working, but he had used up a large amount of energy and found himself lethargic as they dragged him away to carry out the task.
  
  

  Skills

  • Musical talent: Can pick up any instrument and play, specializes in the violin. Also can memorize music he hears and replay it back.
  • Fairy magic: Can make leaves and rocks look like other items (like money or food), but it only lasts for up to five minutes after it is out of his hands.
  • Plant manipulation: Daichi has the power to change the shape and texture of plant life. This is commonly viewed as his clothes. To make his "fabric" Dai takes many leaves, petals, or vines, and with a simple touch of his fingers, he transforms many small bits into solid shapes and objects. Whatever he makes can also be undone at his will.
  • Plant magic: Can make plants speed up to the state they would be in in autumn. He claims his powers aren't very strong.

  Not so Skilly

  • Stutter: Said to be a side effect of his musical abilities, he stutters in his normal speech. He will even use another word if he finds he can not pronounce it.
  • Awful sense of direction: gets lost easily and multiple times even when shown locations
