  • Personality: Self righteous, self absorbed, and self worshiping. However, Savigni does possess a good heart...er... bones. At times he'll play himself up for recognition as a hero, but at his core he knows what is right, and he will act upon it for the good of others.

  • Traits: Thick-skulled in all seriousness. On the outside he appears completely self absorbed, but in reality longs for good company. For friends. At the end of the day he'll maintain his loyalty and sense of what's right... but if he can benefit himself in the process, I mean, no harm done right? The man is a complete goofball, and his immaculate luck is likely the soul thing he has going for him.

• Description

  Sir Savigni Alphonse, in the most basic of terms, is a skeleton. He stands a hair under six feet, with bones shaped in such a manner that they suggest he was once someone of a smaller frame and stature.
  His speaking is made rather difficult to understand via the fact that he lacks a lower jaw, but he is not completely un-understandable.
  Savigni attributes the anomaly of his life, weight, movement, and all around bodily functions to the magic that binds his soul to his long overdue corpse.
  Somehow he manages to pull of basic facial expressions fairly well, for a bare skull.
  
  He dawns a full set of plate-armor that was more than likely a display piece in some lord's hall at some point or another. This assumption draws from the various shattered or completely missing jewels that adorn the armor's breast plate and arms, the gold plating that covers many of the smaller details of the set that appears to have been worn and dented heavily during it's time in use, and the general weight of the armor which renders it nearly unusable in the first place.
  Otherwise the majority of the piece seems to be forged entirely of steel, from the gauntlets to the visor that lies upon the helmet.
  
  Savigni wields a dingy iron arming sword and kite shield, both adorned in sigils from some long-forgotten house that do not look fitting to the armor he dawns what so ever. However, in further contrast to the armor they DO appear battle-ready.
  
  Savigni carries a small leather-bound journal with him where ever he travels, and is usually a little less than trusting when it comes to allowing others to see it.

• Background

  Details of the man's story are fairly hazy, simply due to being lost in time. His mortal life took a countless amount of years prior, and in all likelihood his homeland may have been somewhere common to YOU now.
  
  
  
  Sir Savigni Alphonse, in times since passed, served under a long forgotten Lord of the West as a grand knight.
  He did nothing to earn the role however, being born into it via luck of family bloodlines, and in no way acted worthy of such a role. He was a coward, with a massive self-worshiping ego to boot.
  But luck seemed to follow him where ever the man went.
  Savigni chose to flee from each fight he would encounter, more interested in pursuing his own life than making risks for others, but would subdue "dangerous criminals" through nothing more than freak miracles and coincidences. Rather than tell the truth however, he would always claim credit for the deeds.
  
  This unrightfully earned the young knight copious amounts of fame among the public, decorated as a "Righteous Hero" and general figure head of society among his homeland. And in time, he also began to buy in to the illusion of being something he was not, hypnotized by the higher standards of life.
  There was hardly a redeeming quality about the man, save a kind heart, and in due time his lies would come back to bite him.
  When his homeland was drawn into times of warfare, Savigni and a handful of others were given the task of defending the long since forgotten settlement at all costs. The stability of things went South rather quickly to say the least.
  His home was destroyed in a matter of months by factions in the East, with mercy being a non-existent term. Women, children, the elderly or sick, were all slaughtered during this pivotal raid.
  
  Savigni carried his ego and pride into an impossible battle.
  The poor fool's luck would make no appearance, as he met a grizzly death at the hands of a brute wielding a battle ax when attempting to defend a local family that had been pushed into a corner.
  
  His last thoughts creeped up on him slowly, bearing the realization that he was no hero. He was no knight. He hadn't managed to take a single man down with him when he passed. All he did was buy time for a few common folk.
  It was certainly no way to die...
  
  And by a final blessing, he did not.
