• Biography

  Sam grew up in the Midwestern United States with his Mother, Father, Aunt, Uncle, and Cousin all under one roof, and was bored to death with his schooling and took to flying aircraft at an exceptionally early age as a hobby. As his skill rose, he began to compete, winning first prize in nearly every competition he entered, all the way up to a national aviation festival, where his R/C craft got him disqualified for breaking the sound barrier. Still, the US Air Force took special interest in his unique maneuvers and technique, and at 16, he was inducted into basic airman training. By age 19, he rose to the rank of Captain, with 34 kills under his wings. In peacetime, however, Sam's addiction to the high-brow, heart-thumping dogfights had brought along a deep withdrawal and depression, and he gambled and drank half of his hard-earned fortune away. His Cousin, a highly trained mercenary turned idealist, took Sam in after his early retirement. After another year of ambling from job to job, Sam tried his paw at firefighting, and the death-defiance had brought back his old, lively self. Still, Sam found that risking his life for others wasn't as gratifying as risking it for himself. Sam then took to Touring Car Racing, and finally, Formula One, where he almost immediately became a superstar loved by millions.
