  Yang is the kind of person who teaches someone how to swim by pushing them in the water. This speaks volumes about how he approaches most things in life. He frequently making sarcastic comments and jokes even in the heat of battle and often taking combat and hostile situations extremely lightly, particularly when faced with foes he knows he can beat easily and who don't pose a threat to him. However, he does take combat very seriously when he deems his opponent a threat or if he is sufficiently angered. He likes to play safe. Using tactical methods to win a fight instead of charging in blindly without any plan.

  His anger, one of his main assets in battle, can lead him to hold grudges towards opponents that have annoyed or wronged him. All rational thoughts would be thrown out the window as Yang would engage in an overly aggressive fighting style. It would be very difficult to calm him down when he is in such a state. He is not a very gracious winner when it comes to battling the enemy, often mocking and taunting them when he deems that they are weak. He's somewhat of a sore loser. He hates losing more than anything, even if he knows the opponent is out of his league. Yang makes puns and seems to enjoy it even though not many do. He comes off as rude because of his sarcastic nature but he doesn't bother to make amends to his attitude
