• Description

  Harriett Bacal is a new widow thrust into a cruel world once so kind to her. She's very plain and average looking for the age, and tends to dress the part. Her only physical feature that tends to catch people's attention is her piercing blue eyes.
  She's very high spirited, and is hardly afraid of stepping into a messy situation should her moral compass guide her to it.

• Biography

  Harriett grew up in a small farm just outside of Red Lamp until moving there with her late husband Charlie Bacal. The two were happy for a while until running into some trouble. Charlie had been a lawyer for a mob boss for many years and had finally quit after a disturbing case, however, an old debt prevented him from fulling leaving. In order to keep Harriett safe, he was forced to the mob's dirty work. After a job went awry, he went missing. The mob nearly killed Harriett out of revenge, and threw her once happy life into flame. Harriett hired Cecil to find him, but the two were too late, as he committed suicide in order to throw the police off her trail and to avoid getting arrested.
  Now, Harriett has found refuge in the Spade Branch with Cecil Bogey as his secretary turned partner. She fully intends to get revenge on the witch who forced her happy life into the flames.
