  • Description

    Wielding a large one-handed battleaxe and shield, May can be seen as a formidable opponent in any battle. Her thigh-length pale blonde hair runs down the middle of her back and is usually tied in a single braid.
    Her pale blue eyes and oval shaped face could easily be described as attractive, were it not for the large vertical scar running down her left cheek.
    Her full body is muscular and thickset, mostly due to the large amount of time she spends training and working out. The battleaxe that she carries is very heavy to wield and her muscles need to be able to swing it with ease for her to be of any use in a fight. Her larger hips and bust give her figure an hourglass shape, which she usually hides beneath her heavy leather armour. She is not interested in comments about her looks from strangers.
    May loves to cook and is usually the one cooking meals for a group. If anyone makes a joke about her being a woman cooking though, they had better run. She also loves to eat, polishing off large meals quickly. Her favourite meal is a thick beef stew with a slice of fresh bread to dip into it.

    May was born on a large farming homestead near the city of Whiterun. Her mother, Anna Wolffe, died during childbirth - leaving her husband Ragnar to raise their children. Four boys and and a newborn daughter. Knowing anything about how to raise a girl, and spending most of his time away working as a general for the Imperial Army, Ragnar found it hard to connect with May, blaming her for the death of his wife -whom he had loved deeply. A traditionalist at heart he believed that women should stay home to cook and clean the house, so from a young age Majken was in charge of those duties. In spite of her strict upbrining though she had a short temper, often got into fights with her brothers and refused to fully submit to her fathers will.

    When she turned 18, following a traumatic event occurring in Solitude, May left home and set off to work as a mercenary, causing outrage to her father who didn't speak to her again until many years later.

    It was tough at first. She still remembered the first person she had killed while defending her own life and that of the person who had hired her for protection. She slowly started practising with her weapons more, a one handed battleaxe and shield, and gained muscle in the process. Times were tough in a world that often thought of females as the weaker gender though, so she was regularly getting into brawls or games with the other mercenaries to prove her prowess.

    One year she entered the tavern in Rorikstead on a particularly cold winters day and met Jimmy, the man who would eventually become her husband. The rest is yet to be told.
