Personality & Background
Jo is very sociable and loves being around people. She's energetic, a risk-taker, and very affectionate towards others. She's not quick to judge and enjoys making friends. However, she can't keep a secret and often wears her heart on her sleeve. She lies and over-exaggerates sometimes, and is therefore mistrusted by many people. She secretly wishes she could start over and earn their trust back.
She grew up in an upper-class family with two older siblings. Her father, a surgeon, was often away from home, but her mother stayed and took care of Jo and her siblings. Her mother believed learning was of utmost importance, and was always helping her children with schoolwork. Anything below a B was unacceptable. Jo didn't usually meet her mother's standard, which led to frequent disagreements. She was tutored and tried everything to improve her grades, but to this day still struggles in some subjects. Although both of her brothers studied medicine in college, Jo would like to be a social worker or artist.
