    Atlas Barkley,.

    23 years old.

    Born in Chicago, Atlas lived alone with his father after the death of his mother. He quickly found his interest in photography and a passion, specifically, in wildlife photography. His passion for the outdoors made it easy to find others who had similar passions, many of whom he took regular camping trips with. One of these trips occurred when he was around the age of 17.

    Nothing seemed different about this trip. It was the same number of people, same location; everything was the same… except that none of the campers returned.

    Three months and the only sign that they had gone out into the forest was a destroyed campsite. Dried blood, torn tents, and a broken camera. Most people assumed it was a bear attack. Then Atlas stumbled out of the trees, covered in blood and in complete shock. According to him, he can't remember anything about the trip, including embarking on it.

    Since that event, Atlas has had an ability. When stressed or scared, something inside of him triggers a transformation; a transformation into what Atlas can only describe as a Wendigo. The transformation grants Atlas enhanced strength, dexterity, agility, and endurance. However, his senses are extremely dulled. His sight is limited to things that are moving. However, his hearing is unchanged.

    The transformation has consequences as well, risking that he might lose himself in the animalistic spirit of the Wendigo. That feral part of him has a chance to bleed through even when he is not transformed. The transformation itself is extremely painful as well and, although he won't notice it while he is the Wendigo, Atlas will usually be bruised and sore for days on end. If he transforms too much in a short span, it may have lasting effects on his body.
