    I am starting to think people on this planet are daft. Today the Captain asked me to go check in on one of his second lieutenants. I figured why not; Me and Kismet out on the road, spending a day breathing the thick ash air, sulfur always made me happy growing up. Well, I get there and he starts treating me like I am some kinda puke grunt. I had to pull rank and yell at that boy to get it together.
    
    Come to find out the creature they summoned to save the castle yesterday didn't quite get put back in the box. Somehow resurrecting Mavos Siloreth, a powerful Chimer mage is going to get the job done. I swear the logic these people show is insane. Despite being the one who first bounded Balreth at Ash Mountain, Mavos is a creep. My pops used to tell stories about how he would sacrifice entire platoons of soldiers just to liquefy them and imbue crystals with their energy. The asshole has no regard for other beings. It sickens me.
    
    I am not going to raise another spirit just on a whim. I have to go talk to the mages guild about Mavos. Perhaps they can setup a cage of some sort to prevent him from doing anything ridiculous this time.
