    ~below is a Pokemon setting description~

    Kenzie May has lost her mother when she was six years old. She tried to go to her father for support. However he was also the grass gym leader of her region. Instead of helping her, he entirely focused on gym battles and tried to ignore the tragedy. However, this in turn, made Kenzie go from a very outgoing little girl to a shy and easily intimidated girl. This only got worse as she got closer to the age where she would be getting her first Pokemon. Why? Her father started to pressure her into becoming the next great grass gym leader. When he was mad at her, her father would stare her down. As a result, she can barely look anyone in the eyes for longer than a quick glance.

    Kenzie May's mother had just died recently, just before she would go into high school. Her father focused on his work even more and even drank himself to sleep. Being left alone, Kenzie just kinda closed herself off from the world, only to draw in her sketchbook and avoid other people if she could. However, she would always wonder about the mystery surrounding her mothers death but never get close to solving it.

    Kenzie May comes from a WIP region that is currently being created. The most that can possibly be said is that she lives in a field to forest region. Her hometown is sunset valley. Well known for the grass type gym located there.
