• Personnel Profile

  At over seven feet and broad of stature, Esrunn is a physically imposing presence. Though considered none too bright and lacking drive whilst under Inner Ring Police Force tutelage, his instructors noticed proficiency in hand-to-hand combat and generally gregarious behaviour that made him well suited to personal protection of VIPs and shipboard assignments. In his general aptitude tests Esrunn was found to be lacking motivation, nominally personable and generally good natured, if somewhat awkward owing to his size and morphisims; this was characterised by a dislike of enclosed spaces where he was ill suited to manoeuvre.
  
  Following the incident at Langrage 4-5 his personality profile altered drastically. Tests showed a distinct lack of cooperation, along with an excess of risk-taking behaviour and almost pathological focus on his self-assigned objectives to the disregard of all else. It is believed that the incident and his injuries sustained during it caused a psychological break that brought him closer to his genetic forebears in temperment and tractability. Esrunn became much more independent, savage and militant, eschewing the IRPF for contracts as a freelancer and managing to secure a number of jobs as a hired gun. When placed under stress he was noted to react violently, though seemed to retain enough control to require direct provocation of this response.
  
  As a mercenary he became more adept at ranged combat and athletics, harbouring resentment towards the IRPF for their percieved failures and grew prone to brooding. Despite this he also seemed to become more informal and motivated, taking an active role in the leadership of ResQ- a post that required at least some level of charisma. Throughout his life he maintained contact with his family, gradually growing more estranged as his work took him into steadily more morally ambiguous territory.
  
  Following the destruction of ResQ headquarters Esrunn and his colleagues have been reported as living off-the-grid and in active pursuit of their own objectives, surfacing in a number of locales only when forced to do so. Behavioural analysts have concluded that the group is being hunted by unknown assailants, and they have been observed fleeing a in footage recorded in local security clouds. Contract records note Esrunn himself as being a resourceful and dangerous opponent- making up what he lacks in high intellect with low cunning, determination and sheer bloody-mindedness when pressed. Above all he appears driven to survive, come what may, and time on the wrong side of the law has made his moral compas somewhat more malleable than it might previously have been.

• Background:

  Family records indicate that Esrunn spent his early years aboard Trafalgar Shipyard in Venusian orbit. As with much of his family he graduated from the Inner Ring Police Force academy aboard the station at the age of 16, electing to take a secondary scholarship aboard the MarsCo owned freighter MC-SS-054 'Jericho Rising'. There he gained low-level certifications in electrical/mechanical engineering. Records of his formal education end here; Esrunn's initial career seems to have been unremarkable, moving between guard postings aboard ships on the Jovian transit until his resignation from the corp, precipitated by a breakdown in a relationship with a fellow IRPF officer.
  
  Esrunn re-surfaced in IRPF records when he was taken into custody, suspected in collusion with a smuggling ring operating from refuelling staion Lagrange 4-5. The aforementioned station became subject of an investigation following the activation of its distress beacon, detailed in Incident Report 301J. The Mobile Hospital P-4 'Nightingale' responded and deployed its on-board IRPF detachment to the station and were able to retrieve three survivors, Esrunn amongst them. Despite a thorough investigation evidence gathered against the survivors was found to be little more than circumstantial and charges were dropped.
  
  From here Esrunn appears to have signed onboard a search and rescue corp ResQ, participating in the retrieval of the surviving Stars over Landria crew and civil relief efforts in Darwin Crater following Hurricane Mariposa. Esrunn again came to the attention of IRPF when the enlisted personelle of ResQ became implicated in the murder of their CEO after an apparently failed extortion attempt. Five John Does were discovered amongst the burned remains of their headquaters along with traces of accellerant and bullet casings.
  
  Esrunn has been sighted along with remaining ResQ personelle in a number of locales. The last confirmed sighting of the fugative group was recorded in the spaceport of Noctis Volatilis in the Labyrinth region of Mars. CCTV showed the group engaging a number of unknown assailants with automatic firearms and improvised explosives. Current whereabouts unknown.
