• Backstory

  Sable is...interesting, to say the least. Her parents were researching the potential of mixtures of different types of dust, but they neglected to keep many records, and as a result, much of their work died with them when their town in western Vale was attacked by the White Fang. (Luckily, she was able to recreate most of their experiments, and take notes.) This incident left her mentally scarred.
  
  With no immediate family, Sable eventually wound up a ward of the state, being cycled through the system. She taught herself, because she never stayed at a single school for too long. She always felt as though no one truly understood her or cared about her.
  
  Sable went from foster home to foster home and never stayed in one home for too long. Every foster family eventually gave up on her. Most found her frightening, due in no small part to the amount of time she spent developing new dust mixtures.
  
  When she reached age 14, she applied to Signal Academy, just to have some consistency in her life, and got in. She saw it not only as a way to have some consistency in her life, but also as a means to help exact vengeance on the White Fang. She’d refined her mixtures, sure, but she needed actual combat training if she was to ever be a real threat to them. She later applied and was accepted to Beacon.
  
  At Beacon, one of the first people Sable saw was Auric Halcyon. She immediately felt a connection to him, as though they were meant to be soulmates. She developed an unhealthy obsession with Auric, which causes her to come off as a stalker. She even values his life above her own and acts unusually friendly around him. She will do whatever it takes to win his affections, regardless of what it would cost her.
  
  Around others, she is a rather cold individual, usually threatening to harm them if they stand in the way of her plans of gaining Auric's affections. Despite her dark personality around others, she is capable of loving another person, though her love for Auric still takes priority in the end.
  
  She is also sensitive about others to an extent. In addition, she is somewhat self-conscious, as she is often unaware of her own physical appeal and gets embarrassed when people bring it up.
  
  She also feels guilty when she fails to protect people from threats such as the White Fang or Grimm.
  
  She uses the range of Syalla in battle to cripple opponents before they have a chance to strike. She uses the Dust mixture in her gloves and socks to increase her striking power when she is forced to fight at close range. This, combined with her invisibility Semblance, makes her dangerous alone in battle, and lethal when she has allies to cover her.

  Syalla - gauntlet that utilizes dust to create Constructs, such as Lightning Arrows and Fire Hammers. Can also be used to simply focus the effects of the dust in a single direction. Powered by Lightning dust batteries.
  
  Semblance
  Detection filter (can prevent people from seeing and hearing targeted objects in her vicinity, including herself. Instead, affected persons only see the background, and hear nothing. Can last for up to an hour while target is still. Each added object takes 5 minutes off the duration. Movement halves the duration.)

• Other Notes

  Auric Halcyon is love interest. Current constructs: Arrows, hammers, darts, walls (act as force fields and inflict damage when struck), chains, swords. It is unlikely that more will be added. Dust-mixing skill can increase with time, allowing her to make more complex mixtures, and make larger batches of more complex mixtures at one time. Will be able to make dust for teammates in the future.
  
  Current mixtures (as of 5/1/16):
  Acid (Water + Sulfur trioxide) - makes acid engulf target. Expensive and incredibly hazardous
  Aether (Fire + Lightning) - creates a sphere of burning light that fades after a few seconds and leaves horrendous burns. Incredibly volatile.
  Electric Mist (Steam + Lightning) - creates a cloud laced with lightning that deals lightning-based damage over time. Also disables electronic equipment and has a small chance to paralyze biological targets
