• Backstory

  Not much is known about Amaranth’s early life other than his home town was demolished by Grimm and he was trained by women who calls herself Zen. Nothing is known of Zen other than what Amaranth described. Zen was a wolf faunus clad in black with silver hair. She taught him how to fight and survive but vanished before his training was completed.
  
  Amaranth earned a reputation as a mercenary which caught the attention of the Academies, eventually settling on Beacon.

• Weapon/Semblance

  Weapon
  Xiuhcoatl- A dagger (White grip, gold guard, green blade) with a compartment in the guard for dust (Uses ice, fire and lightning) crystals and viles which allow for an elemental coating (Like in Dragon Age) or a wave of whatever dust he’s using. However the dust inside Xiuhcoatl is used up when the energy wave is used.

  Omnidirectional shield- Range is 10 feet and can deflect dust based attacks (though he has not control over the direction), is immobile when the shield is up.

• Other Notes

  His teaching method is very hands on primarily uses the “Sink or Swim” method. His shields limits are only known to him as he rarely uses it.
