Amira was born and raised in Tenebra, to parents exiled after being found guilty of murder and theft. She grew up learning her people's ways, the ways of dark elves: stealth and theft instead of reading and writing; how to kill effectively instead of how to cook; learning to lie and deceive instead of acquiring manners and etiquette. Amira was quite happy in Tenebra, but after her mother died, she decided to explore the world.
She brought trouble to whatever places she stopped at, but the dark elf knew how to cover her tracks well enough to avoid getting caught. Her dark complexion always hidden behind the hood of her cloak, Amira lived a solitary life moving from one adventure to another, accumulating wealth and power while managing to keep a certain anonymity under several aliases.
