  Reports of strange music have been coming in from all over the world. The music appears to affect those that hear it in a variety of ways, ranging from simple inconveniences to outright danger. Various agencies have been assembled across the world, tasked with investigating these incidents and helping the people affected. Kai was a technician assigned to one of Japan's agencies, and was the link between the medic Kanae and headquarters during the event that prompted the creation of Beatranger. Because of that, and his expertise with surveillance equipment, Kai was chosen to join the team.
