• Description

  Alex is of above average height, standing at 5'8 and weighing in at about 143 lbs. She is thinly built, but is rather athletic and as such does have toned areas, such as her legs and abdominals. Alex is of african American descent, her dark skin having a reddish hue with a smooth complexion. Her hair is short, having been straightened but she has taken to a pixie cut, angled upwards at the back. Her hair is also rather coarse in a sense, as it needs to be moisturized to feel smooth. Alex does this often usually, giving it the sheen as if her hair had been straight naturally. This also brings out the color well, her hair being a dark brown.
  
  Alex has full lips, considering them to be one of her better facial features. She wears black or dark red lipstick usually, in an attempt to make them stand out more. Her eyes are nearly completely black, the devoidness of color often throwing people off. This isn't because she's a demon or anything, but because part of Alex's quirk give her eyes similar to the compound eyes of an insect. Her nose is small, being round shaped and having a low bridge and nasal ridge.
  
  Alex's quirk gives her the traits of an insect in multiple respects, changing her appearance greatly. First are her wings, being insectoid in appearance and connected to joints budding from her back. While not looking very strong, her wing joints are stronger than that of an arm, having to resist wind shear and turbulence. Alex also has antennae, growing from her forehead that detect vibrations in the air and can pick up scent. They are roughly 1.2 ft long, adding to her height by a decent amount. Lastly, various parts of her body have skin similar to that of an insect's exoskeleton, giving her enhanced durability only on that specific area. Such areas include her forearms, shins, and the surrounding tissue around her wing joints. These areas are harder and more coarse than other areas of her skin and red in color.
  
  Alex dresses rather conservatively, only wearing what is comfortable in exchange for fashion most of the time. This doesn't mean she doesn't care about how she looks, but rather it means that she won't value it over being comfort. She wears most open back shirts to allow for free movement of her wings, and also wears only pants or shorts most of the time due to her not liking the cold while flying. Lastly, She always wears knee high socks and tennis shoes as both are relatively warm and are easy to move in.
