• Physical Appearance

  General Appearance: Aeadia isn’t usually considered beautiful by conventional standards though, if she were paler, her appearance would be undeniably attractive across much of the land. An oval face shape sees her features dominated by high cheek bones, an exceptionally straight nose and a jaw seemingly carved of marble. Whilst her face is a little wider than it is long; her eyes, nose and mouth are placed almost perfectly to balance it out. Full lips of a classic shape tend to lift more dominantly on the right side giving her a crooked smile, though when she talks her left corner dominates movement.
  Hair: Hair of obsidian black falls naturally straight to the middle of her back, though she is often seen with it curled or braided over one shoulder, a habit she acquired after her first stint at sea. Infrequently she will decorate her hair with gems and delicate strands of gold, though this is usually reserved for special occasions.
  Eyes: Aeadia’s eyes are a deep, olive green, though they are rumoured to appear black when she is angered. They are a surprising distinction against her dark colouring and one of the only tells of her identity (brown eyes most common amongst people of her colouring). Wide and upturned in shape, the outer corner lifts elegantly to give a feline touch to her features and her eyes are framed with long, thick, dark lashes.
  Complexion: Her skin is a flawless dark bronze with coppery undertones, making her distinguishable as a Moneri. Though it is common for those of Noble lineage to wear make-up, Aeadia likes to allow her youthful complexion to speak for itself and won’t apply any coverage beyond a charcoal paste to line her eyes.
  Weight: Her weight is prone to fluctuating making it difficult to determine her exact weight measurement, however it is rare to see the woman exceed 9st (126lb) and she can therefore be considered relatively lightweight and easy to carry and manoeuvre. The majority of her weight is connected to the muscle build that her active lifestyle has afforded her as she has an average of 22% body fat.

  Personality Description: Aeadia is the very pop-culture definition of a pirate - untrustworthy, dishonourable and deceitful. She is no ally and no friend, willing to do whatever is required to achieve her goals; which is exactly what makes her so dangerous. Aeadia exists solely for her own pleasure, everything played out for her own entertainment. Her charm and charisma often lead others into her influence but result in little more that brief encounters of enjoyment and mayhaps a little trouble. Sarcasm is used as a means of distancing by the Pirate, often implemented when she grows too fond of an individual and almost always pre-empting a swift departure. Unknown to most is the deep loneliness that Aeadia suffers. Truthfully she wants nothing more than to find someone with which to share her wealth and adventures but refuses to risk breaking her heart again.

• History

  + Aeadia was born to parents both hailing from Aristocratic families of the Dual Isles, their family fortunes built from the Jewels of the Sea; anything difficult to obtain was their forte, the ocean their treasure trove. Her parents married young through an arranged marriage, and climbed the societal ladder whilst starting their own large family and managing their business - everything to define them as successful. It was only time before one of their eight children would cause them trouble.
  
  + Aeadia always had a mischievous streak, preferring to sneak away from her minders to cause havoc with the local children. Most days would be spent at the docks or the bays, where she developed an early love for the sea, ships and the many characters both brought into port. It was by chance, and one of these disobedient exploits, that she met her future husband. He was not the man her parents had arranged for her, far from the kind of man they would find for their daughter. He was a rugged and charming man and held a fearsome reputation. Certainly not the kind of unsavory character she should associate with. He captained a beautiful Carrack named Poseidon’s Dagger and, for the short time he was docked in the Dual Isles, the young girl would find all manner of situation and reason to keep company with him. Aeadia grew besotted with his rough charm and captivating stories and he was drawn to her budding beauty, sharp mind and unapologetic worshipping of his tales.
  
  + She longed for adventure and his company and together, though all odds were against them, they plotted. In the dead of night the pair were married and by the morning, when her family found out, Aeadia was ostracized by her parents and promptly left the Dual Isles on Poseidon’s Dagger.
  
  + A life of piracy was well suited to Aeadia; providing all the adventure she could ever want with less of the risk. Her name still granted her a sliver of protection, though she remained careful at her husband's warning. However, her name didn't protect her from everyone, especially her husband's enemies. Captain Morgan was the most troublesome of her husband's enemies, the one man Kennit couldn't seem to kill, and the one driven to torment the Captain. One unfortunate incident involved Aeadia, Morgan taking a rare opportunity to try and seduce and molest his nemesis' wife. Aeadia did not fall victim to his advances, but the slur against his name and the woman he loved drove Crosse to the extreme. He vowed to kill Captain Morgan for the insult and at every opportunity the pair would duel, be it with fist or blade, though the duo were too evenly matched that a victor was never claimed.
  
  + However the fateful day did eventually come. With both Poseidon’s Dagger and The Wicked Wench racing for the same treasure, a fight was destined to ensue. As Poseidon’s Dagger pulled ahead, Captain Morgan fired a cowardly shot at the ship, shattering the mizzenmast and unleashing Crosse's fury. Turning his ship about, he engaged Morgan in battle, both ships being boarded for the brawl. Crosse and Morgan cut their way through their scrapping crews, locking one another into their final duel, one that changed everything.
  
  + Though their fight was furious this time Crosse was bested and he suffered an ending blow, the cutlass of his nemesis burying deep in his chest. Aeadia, despite involving herself heartily into her own fight, had kept her eyes on her husband and witnessed the landed attack. With blind rage she cut her own opponent down and vaulted across the ship to her husband's aid but Morgan was taking no prisoners. As Crosse sank to his knees and turned his gaze toward his panicked wife, Morgan sliced his throat open, killing the fallen captain in a merciless victory.
  
  + Those cries of victory and "your Captain is dead, lay down your arms" rang across the desk, Aeadia was blind and deaf to everything but Morgan. As he turned to the brawling crew members to shout his command Aeadia came to his back and with a single, vengeful blow, she removed his head from his shoulders. As Captain Morgan's corpse slumped to the deck with her husband and his head rolled, she wiped the spray of blood from her face and dropped her blade. Both remaining crews watched her uncertainly, as she dutifully reached to her husband, took his blade and the pendant from around his throat, and donned both. Her silent declaration was more powerful than her verbal one. With both Captain's blood still warm under her feet she declared herself Captain of Poseidon’s Dagger. The living were given the choice to join her crew or die. Twelve men were left after her declaration, the disloyal few cut down by her new men.
  
  + The Wicked Wench was sunk with her deceased crew, Captain Crosse wrapped and anchored and thrown overboard with his faithful men. Aeadia took up the mantle of Captain Crosse and began her career plundering her pain away.
