• Backstory

  Oberon was given life by the trickster god, Loki. His 'father' or rather, a donor, was a stag named Dvalin who's DNA was taken and given to an elf who was promised a child of her own. Little did anyone know, Oberon was a hybrid, something looked down upon the gods. Odin, however, was merciful and allowed the woman to keep her child up until the age of five, where he was to leave Alfheim and join the four holy stags of Yggdrasil. His mother agreed but was still heartbroken that her son, even if he was given under undesirable circumstances, would only be with her for a short time. Upon turning 8, he discovered he could control earth and was able to return to Alfheim until he could fully control it without it being purely instinctual. After learning the basics of Earth magic, he returned to his place among the other stags. Once he became of age (16), he received an invitation from Ludora. As his parting gift, Odin called him forth and granted him the power of water via Nyx, the river horse. Although it was only an inkling of control, he took his new power and set off to Ludora.

  • Description(1): His earth manipulation is purely defensive, he can not whatsoever, manipulate his magic to be used as offensive. He can create earth shields, body reinforcements (i.e. manipulating rock over his body to protect him from most physical hits and some magical hits), and if he chose to, he could make flowers bloom or speed up the growth process of plants.
  • Description(2): His water manipulation is purely offensive, though its only in its early stages, only allowing him to make small string about a fraction of an inch wide and 6 inches in height. In the fullest extent of his powers, he can pull water out of thin air, water walk, make whips that vary in size and can control the water in one's body.
  • Drawbacks(1): Due to only being part elf, his manipulation is not that strong and can only hold use his earth magic for so long before it begins to cripple him from the inside out. Longest possible duration for him to use his earth manipulation is thirty minutes. At the moment, he can only use it for roughly five minutes before his magic reserves are fully depleted.
  • Drawbacks(2): Even though his water manipulation (at full capacity) is exponentially better than his earth manipulation, without it being his primary element, his body sees it as a parasite, often trying to purge it. Excessive use results in something akin to water poisoning. His symptoms consists of swelling of cells, severe nausea, vomiting, muscle weakness, cramps, spasms and eventually, a coma. (Hyponatremia is only relative for the first year of Ludora. Makes fewer appearances afterwards)
  • Drawbacks(2) cont.: Outside of his Hyponatremia-like side effects of using said power, excessive use causes him to become severely anemic due to the reliance of water from his system. Even when not using his power, it still relies on the water from his body to remain active in his body. Due to this he has to constantly consume water in order to not faint from severe dehydration. In order to suppress these side effects outside of battle, he must at least go back to Yggdrasil once a week and consume water and leaves
  • Weaknesses: He is extremely susceptible to damage from physical attacks due to having brittle bones caused by his anemia. He is severely weak to any form of dark magic and godly weapons.
