  Habits: rubs the back of his head when nervous, avoids eye contact, plays with the feathers on his arrows with his thumb

  Brief Backstory: Born second of 3 children, Teanaran faced difficulties with finding his place.
  His older brother was Siirist(Sear-st), he was the perfect born child, great at everything. He could play every instrument they gave him, sing any song beautifully, and read by the time he was 3. Not to mention he fought with great strength. And he was so charismatic that, his parents would allow him to lead conversations with officials. And when he was just 13 years old, his brother was born.
  
  Taenaran struggled as a small child. He had much difficulty learning to read, he learned to speak late, and even had issues responding to proper emotions. His parents did not expect much early on. So they didn't even bother to let him learn any instruments. Taenarans first real accomplishment came when Taenaran was about 7 years old. With the bow given to him by his brother, he hit his first bulls-eye. This would prove to be a stepping stone as he excelled further and further in combat related areas. His parents would begin to teach him to be a warrior.
  
  Talila (Ta-Lie-la) was the youngest, Taenaran was about 5 when she was born. Like Siirist, Talila began to show promise early on. She was also very talented in speech and reading. As well as in the performing and traditional arts. She managed to paint beautiful paintings by the time she was 6, and learned to act and dance by the time she was 9. She of course looked up to both her brothers with great admiration.

• Reaching the present

  Taenaran never let his parents doubt get the best of him. His brother trained him in swordplay and hand to hand. Of course he progressed quickly. Though it never stopped him from trying to learn other skills. He wanted to prove to others that he could be just as good as his siblings. He soon picked up learning how to play the ocarina, and even practiced singing when he was off by himself. But since he was unsure of how he sounded he never told anyone and focused on his fighting lessons and practiced his ocarina with the help of his little sister.
  
  At 14 Taenaran was signed off as an official warrior to his village. This day should have made his family proud. and While his sister and brother seemed so excited, his parents didn't even show for the ceremony. This was the starting point. The older Taenaran got, the more he stopped caring what others thought of him. This led to rash decisions, alienation, and of course starting fights.

  His tough guy exterior, and rather negative outlook on life has led taenaran to be partially outcasted. While he fights in his military, leading the archers, his capabilities with fighting cant be ignored. But being the best archer in his village doesnt help him with the rest od the social aspect of his life. Girls think hes weird, men see him as a challenge, and the elders are ashamed of him. Its for these same reasons that the elf cut his hair and started wearing it short. The only one in his village.
