Kurda and Bee

• Important Notes:
  
  The events no longer spoken of happened nearly ten years ago when the sisters were nine and fourteen. It has had time to settle and fade from recent memory, but in general those who were in the sanctum or lived nearby at that time should know the basics of the story.
  
  It is notable that those who lived in the sanctum would have know the girls at least in passing, as they grew up there - their father was a metalworker and a Kyrider of gentle disposition; their mother a passionate healer who preferred a nearby settlement. The mother was executed and the father exiled nearly ten years ago; it is distasteful to speak of either their crimes or their names. Kurda and Bee not only lost their family in the physical sense, but had their family names ceremonially erased.
  
  Kurda never left the sanctum and has been there her whole life - but it was many years back that the increasingly troublesome Bee departed the caverns to live in Iral Kay. However, Bee travels throughout the basin and is hard to pin down as a fast moving messenger between settlements. It is only the caverns she tries to steer clear of if she can help it.

  • Your character knew either sister during their youth in the sanctum - grew up with them, even.
  • Your character has need of a skilled metalworker - perhaps something very specific or unusual. She specializes in tools and more unusual items like 'eye shields', but enjoys challenge and innovation. It's likely that most in the sanctum have held tools, weapons, and other items crafted by her hand.
  • Your character is involved in criminal activity. It's likely that any other disreputable character types know Bee.
  • Your character is an otherwise marginalized or 'lowlife' individual - this would be the 'crowd' Bee hangs out with and knows best.
  • Your character (disreputable or not) has need of a fearless courier.
  • Your character collects and/or sells raw materials (ore, stone, clay, hide, leather, wood, pitch, wax, bone).
    ( Kurda is often looking for specific components not provided by the sanctum, typically for personal and sometimes specially requested work. There are some things more difficult to find and even rare at times, including specific chunks of stone, shells, and even amber for decorative use. )
  • Your character is a fellow artisan.
    ( Kurda also trades for pieces to use in her work, like glass lenses, wooden handles, etc. )
  • Your character is an alchemist.
    (Bee is a buyer of various concoctions.)
  • Your character knew their parent(s).
  • Your character is distantly related somehow (name links: root, will).
