• Description

  The well groomed fur coat was probably the first thing that would stick out to you about the ermine gentleman. Not only was it silky, thick, and exceptionally well-groomed, but it also sported its white colour all year round, making the weasel stick out like a sore thumb in summer or tropical locales. The only thing to mar the snow-white coat was the black tip at the end of his long, bushy tail - it looked as if someone had dipped it in ink. Two round rather cute ears fit through carefully tailored slits on his hat - usually a top-hat, though that varied on special occasions and when the weather called for it. His top-hat would often throw a shadow over his white face, where beneath that dark brim hid two glittering, intelligent pink eyes that seemed to be watching everything, even if it was from under heavy hoods in a smoke-filled corner by the fireplace. Muzzle was short, nose black, pointed canines poking over the predator's whiskery lips. A sort of frill or mane of his own white winter coat was visible before vanishing into whatever dress-shirt and tie he had chosen for that day. From there down was whatever dress clothes he felt appropriate, his favourite colour clearly black, though mahoganies, browns, and navy blues would 'oft be mixed in, the petite gentleman preferring to forego brighter colours - how they did clash with his fur. The only bright thing on his person was that silly monocle that was his namesake - which he wore for necessity, not looks, though modern furs were often ribbing him to join the rest of the word and get contacts, or at the very least, a pair of glasses. Set in his ways, the stoat has not taken that step forward yet, and might never.
  
  Being 5'6 and without wings or splashes of bright colour he tended to get lost among the other furries wherever he went. His stature and his generally quiet and to-himself personality 'oft getting him overlooked, though when one was the first to approach and was kind enough, he could open up, or even be a bit of a chatterbox if you got him on the right subject. He was quite thin, though not to the point of being gaunt, his waist small and the flowing, bottom-heavy look of any self respecting weasel adding just a bit of a curve to all those skinny angles. Feet were covered in black leather shoes, and his fore-paws would have looked delicate were it not for the rather lethal looking, well kept claws at his fingertips.

• History

  Good luck getting anything about his past out of the secretive stoat. It's clear by his clothes that he once lived a much loftier lifestyle than the one he does today, but other than what you can see with your own eyes, you won't learn the tales of his past unless you earn his trust. Because of this his existence is a bit of a paradox; a seemingly endless wardrobe of the most exquisite formal or high-end attire, but very few of it looks new - many of the articles have been re-stitched, are looking a bit threadbare, or look as if they might have fit him better in the earlier years of his life. His penchant for substances like a good glass (or two) of red wine or some pipeweed might suggest a need to forget.

• Personality

  Monocle is a well-spoken, polite, and compassionate individual but is by no means perfect. He seems to be a mixture of introverted and extroverted; he enjoys time alone in nature, or in relative solitude on a park bench with a good book. Sketching birds and flowers is a favourite hobby, or at least one of his more healthy activities. He has seen many things in his life and is not easily phased by odd or even frightening creatures and personalities. His sense of humour is usually on high, though it ranges from boisterous to dry and sarcastic. He's fond of enjoying a few glasses of wine or a smoke with a small group of close friends or like-minded people. Though one might think he fancies himself better than others, he is more humble than first impressions might suggest. The white weasel does have a rather melancholy and secretive side to him, and he is rather stubborn and closed-off when it comes to sharing his darker feelings, though he does his level best to keep these to himself and not bother others with his problems or oddities. Because of this he sometimes finds himself drinking and smoking more than he would rather like.

• Relationships

  Monocle is not currently in any romantic relationships and does not appear to be searching for one, though he is by no means a prude, talking freely and happily about love and lust. Perhaps he will get to know the right person. Perhaps he won't. And that's not something he thinks too deeply about these days.
  
  The ermine has a (somewhat) secret desire to try out being someone's manservant. He likes the idea of serving another, but in a way he considers classy and dignified.
  
  Monocle is pansexual, with a pretty strong preference these days for cis-males.
