• Biography

  Born near the outer dark of the realm, Ayne survived in the frigid lands and dodged the turbulent bouts of magic coalescence like any good youngster of her township. And then, one day, she did not, and was imbued with the power to change forms. Her alternate form bore likeness to the junuve Veaz, the great society of wolves that the humans so deplored. She tried, as any child, to hide this ability, but to no avail her magic was found out. Outcast, Ayne takes the form of a junuve Veaz and wanders the interior of the world where even stranger beings lurk. Through this harsh reality Ayne has become jaded and defensive; not trusting strangers, which are all who she meets. Thankfully, she was given the form of the typical apex predator of the lands. However, this leads to bands coming to hunt her kind down, and to a new level of isolation. She is the Queen of loneliness, it seems, and drowns this lack in the pursuit of knowledge.

• Description

  Naturally, as a human, she's a rather average girl bearing the likeness of a regular nord. Her face is heart-shaped, her figure stockier to combat the cold. She has a veritable mane of golden curls, thin lips, and a beveled nose. Her eyes are downturned and deep-set, and her brows are rather full.
  
  Unnaturally, as a wolf, she's a junuve Veaz. This is no ordinary timber wolf, no, it is a beast so magic drenched it has grown to massive size and acquired flamboyant coloration and an affinity to the elements that the junuve Veaz historically inhabit. Junuve Veaz are at home in the tundra, most remarkably the frost and ice, and have become so enriched with the magic of the cold that they can become as snow. One of the most terrifying sights in snowstorm is to suddenly see the broad and tall beast materialize from the flurries, fangs and claws bared. They are wooly furred and long and tapered in body, with manes of fur protecting their necks and elongated tails for balance. They bear colorations that ranges from pale white to sky to icy blue with bands of darker blues in striated stripes. They are truly giants, about 16 feet at the shoulder. Ayne is still an adolescent junuve Veaz, only about 12 feet at the shoulder. Her fur is curlier and her bands of color are smoother and less jagged. She has the typical pure yellow eyes of a junuve Veaz, and when amongst them she doesn't stand far apart.
