Appearance
Average height. Thin face with strong cheekbones, tanned skin matched with dark slightly wavy hair. A light sprinkling of freckles across the bridge of her nose and shoulders. Bright eyes compared to her dark hair pale green almost yellow in colour, shines slightly when her magic is in use. Board shoulders make her hips appear narrow. Has a small scar across the back of her neck from her hair line to between her shoulder blades.
Personality
Rather quite and calm likes to keep to herself most of the time rarely goes out seeking to speak with others when in a social situation unless she already knows them. Is also very hard working trying to live up to her family name, not as naturally skilled in magic as others in her family as she was born a Siphon a type of blood witch which has to use living things around her to perform more complex tasks, but makes up for it in hard work and study. Finds it hard to relax and seems tense most of the time. Only seems to truly relax when reading a good book.
As shy is Briar is she finds it very hard to deny help to someone in need but rarely gives it as she fears the risk of revealing her magic. It often leaves her looking cold or blunt and the first to refuse and bail on someone even if they were slightly close to being friends. She is very hard to truly befriend as she does not trust many people, easiest way to get her to trust you is if you speak of animals or show her a rather cute one. Befriending Briar is rather fortuitous for she can offer lots of medical assistance and is fiercely loyal to those lucky few who do call her a friend.
Despite her meek appearance she is not one to be trifled with, growing up a siphon she found issues with other magic users as her own people shunned her despite her mothers best efforts, her sister always disliked her as she thought she brought dishonour to the family name. It only grew worst once her mother died, the coven blaming her Briar had to defend herself in attacks before escaping moving to a new country and hiding away from her old life. Being a blood witch on your own was unheard of as it made you an easy target but Briar not bound by the teachings of her people learnt to develop her more deadly skills in order to protect herself, she is still by far not an expert but she can put you in a world of pain if you ever threaten her.
